These are phenomenal wheels at this price point. Durable, comfortable, and fast as hell. Could not recommend any more. Running tubeless on gp5ks. Worth using gorilla tape instead of the provided rim tape and buying longer valves instead of using provided extenders. Hub is noisy but very smooth.

Very happy with these. Showed up in perfect condition earlier than predicted. Great communication by seller. Nice and light. Used the included rim tape, running with tubes, so far so good. Nice loud click if you’re into that sort of thing. Noticeably smoother ride than my stock aluminum wheel set. Excellent value for the price, got mine during Prime Days sale, total score.

I bought these wheels so I can use my gravel bike on the road more easily. I recently just switched to tubeless so my gravel wheels are no longer able to swap tires. First thing I notice, the craftmanship is exceptional. Granted these are my first carbon wheels, but comparing them to the aluminums that I used for years, they are more true, stiffer and overall just faster. The rear wheel is noisy not gonna lie but it is still tolerable. Compared to other high end wheels, they are less noisy though. If you are looking for obnoxiously loud wheel, this is not the one. My gravel wheelset is a DT Swiss Gravel LN. The cassette positions on both wheels are perfect, no shifter adjustment needed. The brake rotors, not so much. The front brake needs repositioning every transition. This wheelset comes with QR endcaps and a roll of unbranded tubeless tape. I did not use any of those but the tubeless tape seems to be of standard quality. If you're planning on setting this wheelset tubeless, note that you have to buy the valves separately. Edit - after more than a year of owning: So these wheels (38 deep) enables me to keep up with a group who averages 19mph and still have some juice left after each ride (30mi/1000ft and 50mi/1500ft). My bike is around 23 lbs on a ride day. Really impressed by this improvement. After a year they stayed true but the bearings need servicing which is a matter of fact I would think. The hub started creaking. Unfortunately I hit a medium sized rock on the road one day and the rear rim got crushed, sidewall cracked and was separating from the inner structure. I rode another 50mi group ride not realizing the rear wheel is already compromised. Nothing significant happened except the rear tire was losing more pressure each day than usual. It's what led me to inspect the rear wheel. I bought another set of 50mm deep this time, but only replaced the rear wheel. New wheels are again trued and tensioned properly. But I am not liking how carbon are very susceptible to damages from road debris. This will be my last carbon set and would go back to aluminums if they break again.

Update: 4/15/2024 I have put 500 miles on these wheels. I've hit some serious potholes and bumps in the mix. These wheels are still true and running perfect. Again, I'm a bigger dude and these have been great. Super impressed so far. The wheels are amazing for the price. Obviously not the lightest wheels, but seem a bit more stout. I received the 700c x 38 with 28mm outer diameter. This wheel gives my 28c tires the perfect shape. The hubs seem decent and my wheels were very true. However, the rear hub is pretty loud. I am a bigger guy @ 250lbs, these have held up great with my weight. I have had some pretty hard hits from pot holes etc. No issues at all. Time will tell, and I will update if anything changes.

Ordering the wheelset was straightforward, with the seller following up on what options are desired. Once the order was confirmed, the wait started. In my case, the wheels finally arrived after 9 weeks. The lengthy time for delivery had less to do with the seller than the shipper. For shipping, the wheels were very well protected in the box, each in its own protective wrap. Out of the box each wheel was absolutely true and round, well-tensioned. Install was typical, rotors, cassette, etc. In my case the wheels are standard quick release, with a 135mm rear axle and the wheelset was supplied to spec with the proper end caps for the spec. I’m not sure if you can buy the thru-axle style caps separately, but that would be a plus if so. I’m not running tubeless but the included TLR rim tape seems to be good quality, also. My immediate impression for the first ride is that the wheels are nice, stiff and snappy. They are lot lighter than what I was using which contributed to the initial “quick” feeling. The aero spokes are quite flat so there was for sure a bit more sail-effect in crosswinds. The option I picked is the lighter style rim vs deep aero. Pretty sure with the spokes used and a 60mm rim you’d feeling in a side gust. Overall, I’m liking what I have here. The price was outstanding, way under half of some brands, and the wheels built exactly to my spec. The seller followed up in a timely fashion, too. For my use-case (winter/gravel bike) the price is perfect since the conditions I use the bike for in are tough Pacific Northwest winters and gravel roads. With surfaces and weather I’ll use these wheels for it’s a great long-term test subject. Time will tell, but this point though, these wheels are a great value. 10/21/22 - Coming up on nearly a full year of using this wheelset. I've ridden through the seasons, road and gravel and the wheelset has held up extremely well. Better than I had expected given the price point. I even ran the wheels for a 60 mi Gravel race that include extremely rocky sectors. Zero issues despite several big hits that I was certain would damage the rims. There is one single nagging problem and that's freehub drag. When in the big ring/small cog at high speed the drag causes the chain to drop onto the top of the chainstay. I've tried several lubes to find a solution and none work to my satisfaction yet. All in all this is a minor annoyance when I consider what I paid for the wheels. Would I buy again? Heck yeah!

Je fais environ 100-130 km de vélo par semaine je voulais des roues en carbon sans me ruiner et payer pour des grandes compagnies. J’ai fait 90 km jusqu’à maintenant et je suis vraiment satisfait. J’ai même une montée de 15% et je peux vous dire que la légèreté m’a vraiment aidé ! Bon service de la part de Elite wheels !
