Geekria Mesh Fabric Headband Pad, bought to replace a worn out genuine Sennheiser headband pad on a pair of well-used HD650s dating from the mid 2000s. The headphones have had several replacement pads over the years, but this is the first non Sennheiser part. The Geekria pad was chosen as it was readily available and reasonably priced. Pad quality appears comparable to the Sennheiser original part, although comfort and longevity in use shall determine whether the positive initial impression is representative. Installation of the Geekria pad was entirely without issue - the new pad slots into the headband just as the Sennheiser part did. Subsequent reassembly and function of the headphones proved similarly issue-free. Replacing the worn out pad with the new one, reinstates the comfort and fit of the headphones. Top summarise: Excellent first impression. Good value. Available. No issue with fit. Longevity and resilience to be determined. Purchase recommended on that basis.

I bought a pair of Sennheiser HD650 headphones 13 years ago, initially for hi-fi listening, but nowadays I use them extensively for music production. They still sound great, but in recent years the headband cushion has collapsed entirely, making them quite uncomfortable - I'm sure the hard plastic headband was starting to indent my skull! I finally decided / remembered to look for a replacement cushion, and was pleased to find this. I don't need new ear-cushions - yet - so was glad not to have to buy a full set. There were no fitting instructions included, but it was easy to find some youtube videos. It only took a couple of minutes to remove the old and install the new. The result is really comfortable! Well worth it.

No issues at all. Fitted perfectly to my HD650 headphones within a minute. New lease of life to my headphones I can now use again.

The headband seems good quality but it's like the plastic band is too thick. It was a struggle to get the two earphones back onto the band part. They are so tight, I can't adjust the headphones anymore and they are stuck in position.

I've had my HD650 for 15 years and the original headband cushion wore out a long time ago but I just presumed to replace it would be a pain and/or costly. When I spotted this listing I thought I'd give it a go as anything has to be better than what I was putting up with. Arrived the next day, and found a quick youtube video showing how to remove the old band padding and insert the new, and all done in 3 minutes. Easy peasy. The padding feels really nice and the value is good. Will see how long it last but would be more than happy to replace this every couple of years now I know how simple it is.

Easy to install, fits and comfortable

Please see attached photo on how actually it looks when installed on Sennheiser HD600. It nowhere as thick as sellers photos appear to claim. Either listing photos were edited to make it look thicker or maybe it was really as thick when it was released but at some point was made thinner (e.g. to save on costs). Pad seems to be ok otherwise, but too early to say on how long it will last especially in comparison with genuine one (which lasted several years). I will update review afterwards.

It's available, unlike the official, and cheap. Perfect for my Sennheiser HD 660 S. Comparing them, they felt and looked identical. Also, a tip for anyone who sees this, there are two slots in the headband for this to go, make sure you put this in the bottom one and not the top. Top is for the headphone arms themselves.

Bought this for my aiaiai headphones since that headband was way too uncomfortable. Attached it with some dubblesided velcro and tadaaaaa! Listening to music without any trouble. Beats the piece of cloth I had wrapped around it in my previous attempt to fix this problem ;)

Colocarlo requiere un poco de paciencia y no forzar el plástico de la diadema que desliza por las ranuras del HD650, una vez colocado queda bien y el tacto es similar al original. La duración ya veremos, el precio bien también. No me ha decepcionado.

Because the headband of the audeze maxwell hurt after a couple of minutes, I bought this one for more support. Does the job well and no more headaches
