Absolute BEST coffee EVER!!! who knew?!? Amazing flavor... and it's an instant! AND it's ORGANIC!!

Excellent coffee. I am a coffee snob and I want it to be organic and free of chemicals, heavy metal, and pesticides. This fits the bill for me. That said, I'd buy it for the taste. I brew coffee at home, carefully, using glass and slow drip or French Press. Frankly, this is just as good and a whole lot easier. It dissolves well. I really like it. Guests have never thought it tastes like instant, because it doesn't. It tastes like coffee, really good quality coffee. The strength depends on how much you use, of course. It is also good cold.

I'm the only coffee drinker in my house so I'm now using this to make my days slightly easier. It's very tasty for instant coffee and I love that it's organic and fair trade. Makes a wonderful iced coffee very easily.

For me there is no other choice but Hagen I normally buy vacuum-sealed raw bean coffee and roast and grind it myself. There's nothing better than that; nothing else comes close. However, I don't always have time for that. I've tried hundreds of brands and blends both instant and brew and nothing is as good as Mount Hagen. Even fresh Starbucks from their shop; although better than most falls short of Hagen. Hagen doesn't have that nasty burnt flavor or excessive sour notes that most brews and instants have. I literally poor the other stuff down the drain and donate any extra to less discerning friends. I suspect the process Hagen uses within freeze drying and the nearness to the roasting process has something to do with the retention of good notes; I've experimented with saving my own fresh roasts in this way and I come close, but again this is a tremendous effort and with this product, they do all the work for me. This is the best value for a quick cup of coffee. My recommendation: get some unroasted good stuff shipped to you for days when you have the time to roast it and consume that within 30 min for maximum goodness and keep Hagen on hand for any day when you need something quick that isn't going to ruin your pallet. And beyond that, it isn't just a stand-in to prevent taste buds from going numb. Hagen is legit good. I have excessively high standards so take my opinion with that in mind.

This is nothing like old school instant. Better than any K-cups. No plastic, no waste. It even dissolves easily in cold water. The individual packs are Way more convenient for on-the-go, but the big bag is such a deal.

Truly a great value when buying in bulk and perfect for long storage. Its caffeine is stronger than Folgers, and it tastes better.

I bought Mt. Hagen coffee in this packaging (December 2024) in order to more easily carry my favorite coffee with me when I travel. Luckily it was still unopened in November 2025. Why do I begin this way? Because I am comparing this coffee from December 2024 in bulk packaging to the Mt. Hagen glass jars I purchased August 31, 2025. In another review, I gave the glass jars an updated 1 star rating due to extremely poor taste, a definite difference. The coffee in this pouch is 5 stars, the taste and quality I enjoy and expect. Now I'm wondering, was the coffee in the 12 jar order a manufacturing mistake? or is that what Mt. Hagen coffee has become? Until the answer to my above question is answered, I cannot recommend this coffee.

Love the flavor, it does taste different when put in metal thermos. Overall great instant coffee. I do believe the price is a bit high though.

Great tasting and aromatic.

Smooth taste. Does not taste like ordinary instant coffee. And also non organic coffee has a lot of pesticides residue in it.
