Perfect stages for picky kids.
Perfect for kids who don't want to read so much and need a short story to help with reading comprehension.

Funny & cute
I bought this for my almost 7 year old son. I thought it would be cute just by the title and cover, and it's extremely cute and my son laughs through the whole book. He, just like the boy in the book, also has a little brother that in his words "bugs the heck out of him sometimes" (lol) so its even better that he can somewhat relate to the characters in the book. As a mom, I love it!

Good for purpose of getting kids excited to read, but story only soso
My 5 year old son loved this book! He could relate to many of, but my 3 year old was bored out of her mind. It felt like an episode of Calliou in my opinion

My 4 year old reader loves this!
I bought this for my 4 year old son (who's been reading independently since he was 2) to introduce him to chapter books and also because the story featured a boy with his younger brother just like him (we have another son who's 6 months old). When it arrived, I just left it on the table thinking that I'll read it with him at bedtime when, after a little while, I saw him reading the book and laughing out loud. He then deemed it his favorite book and insisted on reading it out loud to me and his baby brother and when Daddy came home from work he read it to him too. He even bookmarked his favorite page - the one with the toothbrush in the toilet. :) The story is indeed funny and, although I would not recommend this as an instruction book on babysitting (lol), it is something that has been read again and again by my son. He even brought it to school for show and share and his teacher and classmates loved it too! :)

Great Book!
It definitely got my 7 year okd interested and he read most of the words himself and some are the words he didn’t know which is good i want him to be challenged with unfamiliar words it will help him on the long run, highly recommended and its a chapter book!
