BraceAbility Counterforce Brace - Tendonitis Strap Support Band for Tennis & Golfers Elbow Pain

I injured my elbow working out and the injury was tennis elbow. While researching for something to help with the discomfort, I came across these band / braces. I was initially quite skeptical, but when I read how they work, and watched a YouTube video by a couple physical therapists, I understood the concept, it made sense and to try. This band / brace seemed like the best option and I discovered that it is VERY effective, however, for me, I have to tighten it to the point where it is too tight to get full effectiveness. I am tweeking how I use it and hope that I can find the sweet spot, because it relieves the pain. What these sort of band / braces do is change the pressure point and relieve the stress on the damaged area and they do it well. I am also massaging the area across the grain, something the physical therapist video demonstrated, which should result in a much stronger and long lasting heal.

Has helped with the pain

The brace is good, however, it does not fit everybody. My arms are not very skinny and still it does not fit correctly. I need to "play" with the strap to fit correctly.

I have purchased products from Braceability previously and loved them, but this product was so terrible I had to return it. I get that "one size fits all" is often not all encompassing. This would have been perfect had better quality velcro been used. I had no problem adjusting the inner velcro, but when it came to using the outer velcro, it was impossible to remove it without sliding it off my arm. It took a lot of force to get the outer velcro undone, and in doing so, it completely tore up the fuzzy part of the velcro. I'm struggling with Cubital Tunnel and trying to get this brace off my arm was not a good time. I definitely do not recommend this, especially not if you have pain and weakness in your arms.

I developed tennis elbow (through playing golf ironically) and the pain was pretty bad. I was told by my doctor to get a brace and honestly thought there was more to it that just this brace but I was wrong. I've been wearing it off and on for about a week now and the pain has gone down considerably! I'd highly recommend this brace for tennis or golf elbow.

I can't find a better solution for my severe tennis elbow. I bought 3 pairs because just my luck if I can't find them anymore I would be screwed. I prefer the neoprene because its soft, comfortable, and washable. Others just didn't hold my tendons tight like these.

As others noted, the Velcro is almost impossible to open without the help of another person when it is on your arm. Returned it and bought a different one.

I over did it at the gym and ended up getting tennis elbow on my right arm and golfers elbow on the left! Lol This brace allows me to position it to relive pain for either condition on either arm. My right arm is all better now and i still use it on my left arm when doing arm workouts
