I purchased this as a gift for a 9 year old daughter. She uses it almost everyday. She loves that it has so many different options to use (crayons, colored pencils, water colors, etc), and I love it because there is a place for everything and he likes to keep it all together. All of the pieces are very high quality and don't break easily like some other art sets I have bought in the past. I would recommend this to parents who like organization and kids who love art. This set is sure to even impress the non art lovers with the the great setup. PS. The only problem I have with this is that my daughter is a little bit to obsessed with it and I can't get her attention away from it.

Bought as a gift for my neices birthday. I bought letter decals to put her name across the top to personalize it. She loved it! Great quality box and you get so many things inside the case. Well worth the price. The only negative I have is the bottom drawer has nothing to keep it closed so it slides out easily if tipped. Other than that I am very impressed.

I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered two of these art sets for granddaughters. When they arrived yesterday, I was blown away by the quality and content. These are truly an incredible bargain, and ought to meet just about any young person's needs or wishes concerning art supplies. Great buy.

The quality of the water colors and the oil pastels was a bit... campy, and the box it comes in is gorgeous but a tad flimsy. HOWEVER! My daughter, who I got this for is 7 years old. And she cried when she opened it for Christmas, and it has been her favorite gift, even days later. I think this is a perfect starter 'kit' for the younger artist. She hasn't stopped coloring and drawing since she got it.

My daughter and her family just moved away and this was my first experience ordering and sending to another address. It got there in plenty of time for Christmas and my granddaughter just loved it. She thirteen and It has plenty of art supplies to keep her busy. She made a personal phone call and was extremely excited about the gift. Great purchase

It's a great kit for a handy home arts and crafts kit. My bottom drawer was a little stuck and my husband had to kind of give me out a little for us to open it. I think that due to the fact that was in the sun for several hours maybe there was a little warping in the plastic that held together all the pieces as well as a little bit of warping in the wood not the company who made it fault, other than that it's a beautiful and fantastic, a ten out of ten would buy again I loved it and my daughter loves it and that's all that really matters.

One pull on the drawer and the front came off in my hand. Inside the crayons etc are fine.
