Clean, cool.
I've got a mix of high-tech digital pedals and old school part-for-part remakes, and this powers everything great. It's a lot quieter than my other supply, particularly for stuff like fuzz that's prone to picking up electrical noise. That also means my reverbs sound better, because they aren't competing with as much background noise. I only have two issues with this unit. One, it powers so much stuff that you really should go to the Eventude site, read the manual, and make sure you buy extra connectors of the correct type, if you need to. You're probably fine right out of the box, but it's a downer if you have to order more stuff. Two, the noise floor on my signal was so much lower that I realized my analog delay pedal hums, and that drives me bonkers. Before, the pedal hum was covered up by the hum of the power supply itself. So, now I gotta' buy a new delay pedal too. You might end up going down a similar rabbit hole.

Great product. Would recommend
Fast delivery. Works as promised. Lowered noise level from the inexpensive daisy chain I was using.

Versatile, solid construction, complete
Eventide PowerMax r2 powers all my pedals from a variety of brands. Solid construction and a small footprint. This is a go-to product to power a pedal board and comes with pretty much every power cable one will ever need.

Power connections are not universal
I’m not the most observant person in the world, but I made the assumption that the connections at the power supply itself are not the same as say a Voodoo Lab, so I couldn’t just use a cable from the hundreds of the power cables that I already have. While it is good that they sent a variety of cables to use, I really have no use for daisy chains or positive center connectors and there was not enough center negative cables that were for direct connections. If you’re going to buy this pedal, be sure to get extra of the cables that you need. What is great is great is that it is a low profile unit that I am mounting under my pedal board and will have enough clearance for air flow to keep it cool.

Great quality build, compact size, lightweight and rather expensive. That about sums it up.
