Saved my finned friends
We had a parasite issue that seemed to go away after losing three fish in succession in the old pond. When we put them in a temporary holding tank while remodeling and expanding the pond, all was well... until it wasn’t about a month in. Everyone was flashing and rubbing and off their feed, and two died. Because they had plants in the tank along with a cave, it was hard to catch the signs earlier. So we gave this a go, made easier by the known water quantity in the holding tank vs. the unknown quantity in the original pond that made me too afraid to dose it. BTW a hose meter is counting the gallons as we fill the new pond... a great investment of less than $20. We changed out half the water in the holding tank and watched our fish trying to rid themselves of the problem- It was frustrating to watch them suffer, medication in hand, while adding the new water (big temp difference between the tank and hose water) in small batches to avoid stressing them with much colder water. I did mix the prescribed dose into a bucket of water before adding to their water. In the morning only a couple still looked bothered, and within 24 hrs no deaths and no more flashing. I repeated the treatment, and will do so again one more time to ensure we’re done with parasites before they go to their brand new pond. So, if we had to pick a time to go thru these problems, the timing couldn’t have been better. I intend to treat them with prazi (in all new water) in the new pond to treat for any flukes or intestinal worms they may be carrying to complement the progress made with this product. Thanks for the great product, it is such a relief to see my friends happily swimming about.

A Must Have for Koi owners
A must have for Koi pond owners to help treat water when fish get infections. It won’t treat flukes or other parasites, but is a necessary step in help to heal infected wounds

Buy it even if you don’t need it.
My Koi had fluke worms and this product did clear things up. I used an initial dose and followed it up a week later with a second dose to kill any eggs that may have hatched. For the last four months, I have not had any problems at all. I did lose Fish to begin with prior to using the medicine, but once I saw I had the problem I bought this product and it worked great. Will always keep it on hand.

It actually works
I’m on day one and just hours the koi are now swimming again even with ick infestation but seem to be breathing much better.

Makes water slightly blue before clearing it up. Never had harmed any of our koi.
Broad spectrum gives water a slight blue color and clears it up nicely. Works fairly quick and has virtually no odor. Has been safe to use for for all of our koi and has lasted for along time making it a great value.

Great product! (Follow directions closely)
This product is pretty good... I decided to buy this product for my koi and guppies because they started to show signs of parasites by flashing themselves on the rocks... so I thought before it gets worse I would buy it and so i bought the product... the product seems intimidating because it doesn’t give you an exact day or days to use the medicine and all it warning signs and it seems like this product will kill your fish but thank god it didn’t... I followed all the directions, adding the right dosage, cleaning filters, making water changes, aeroating the water and checking the salt and the product worked great... my fish stopped any signs of flashing so that’s good... just follow the directions closely and you’ll be fine 👍 I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!

Great product however ...
I would have written a great review for this product, however there is a chain of misfortunate incident where it could have been a disaster from the Logistic Center shipping/handling dept, delivery person and the recipient. The liquid is like ink, it stains everything in its path. This is a gallon of ink ready to spill all over the LC floor, delivery van interior, all over the delivery person, house, carpet... 1. Listen up Eco Labs, the top seal leaks when the solution inside breaches the top. Use a hermetically seal plastic packaging like other reputable manufacturers please. 2. Amazon LC, it is a gallon bottle so you should not place it in a rectangular box side way. The proper box is vertical with a directional label "This way up". I intercept the delivery package, immediately up right. Unfortunately it starts leaking, I was able to prevent full blown spillage all over the house. OK I get over my angst here is by 2 cents. I apply this BSDT to a 30 ton pond with 7 juvenile koi, 3 gold fishes and 1 comet. This is the protocol for each day: 3ppm PP, BSDT, BSDT, BSDT, 2ppm PP, BSDT, BSDT, 2ppm PP. Good news all 11 fishes survive the treatment. On the other hand, just a 20" (50cm) utsuri gets more stress from the 3rd BSDT session and she is still has the irritating parasites evidence in her flashing. I give everyone a rest for 2 weeks because treatment efficacy may take time. I will remember to give update on July 20th 2021.
