These are great for my dogs in the New York humidity in the summers. I feel it helps cool them down but I can only put my thought on it since the dogs can't talk.

Product works just as advertised. Run under water and get the item thoroughly wet, then place in the freezer for a minute. I use this for the dog after hot walks or when she is excited and it absolutely helps to cool her down. It also helps to keep her calm during fireworks.

Ok, so it honestly took me a while to figure out how to use this product. I bought it to help my dog stay cool when we had several days above 90°F. But no matter how much I soaked it in water, it was dry 2 minutes into our walk. I was so frustrated that I almost returned it. After reading several reviews, I decided to soak it in cold water, wring it a little to keep it from dripping, seal it in a ziploc freezer bag, and store it in the freezer. Honestly, a few minutes was all it needed, and it stayed chilly for a good portion of our walk. My dog hates water (in general), and she puts up with this bandana. However, consider that this process could potentially also work for a regular cloth bandana.

I bought a small for my kitty. I understand it is made for dogs, so want going to fit the same. He cannot put his head down with it on. I believe because it’s the size for dogs. Nice idea, not good though. For one, I thought it was like the cooling blankets that are cool on their own. I had no idea you had to wet it. I could take a wash cloth, add Velcro and wet it and stick it in the fridge just as good as spend money on this! I don’t want wet clothes on my cat. It was way too cold after being in the fridge as you would expect, and don’t want that cold on him either! I had it out to dry for awhile. He came in and I tried it on him and he didn’t mind which is surprising. I realize that I could even put it in his back and wrap it around his tummy like a blanket or jacket. That would be a good idea! Anyways, no bell inside it like a customer said. I don’t know if it claims to, didn’t see that. As I felt it, I believe it’s just material, noting cooling about it. Just wet material. DIY in my opinion. Thank you! I love the idea. Just needs improvement. Cool without wetting and fridge use! That would be my suggestion! Unfortunately while waiting for it to dry, I forgot to return it in time for a refund.

I live in the extreme heat of AZ, and have bought a few of the All Paws Cooling Chill Out bandanas. They stay cold for a while, but tend to dry out quickly, and after a few uses the velcro came apart. This time around I purchased the Expawlorer Bandana, seems to stay very cold and wet much longer and is stretchy which make them adjustable, all important features living in extreme temps.

This fits my 36lb Frenchie with a 21” neck. He overheats extremely easily even in the AC and this will be such a great addition to his personal fans. Please see these adorable pics with him moving it!!! It seems to be good quality so far and definitely not flimsy!

Works well

The bandana does help to cool my dogs down and its a decent product however I only used it 2 times and when I went to separate the velcro from its opposing part, the velcro stitching came off the entire bandana. Now the bandana is rendered useless unless I go out of my way to stitch it back on, which I shouldn't have to do. Wasted my money. I haven't tried it yet, but I think a regular bandana frozen in the freezer and then tied around a dog's neck would probably achieve the same effect.

A must have for hot summer days. We bought this for boating excursions, and it’s awesome we could just take it off, dunk it in the lake and it will chill right back down again!

Purchased this for my little Chipoo for the hot summers. It is now the second summer I am using it. Keeps him perfectly cool all day when we are out, as long as I soak it every once in awhile. Found that a cooling vest was too much for him as he would end up shivering. But this little bandana is perfect. Actually have used it so much that the velcro is starting to wear out. Will be getting a new one for next summer.

I think these are a great idea for the warmer days. My Frenchie gets hot easily so this will be used as quick cool down on those days. I’m happy with my purchase. However I bought it early ready for Summer and still waiting for those warmer days to truly test it
