Zucchero

I saw him in concert on a PBS channel and had to get some of his music. This is one fantastic performer and I think I am in love. I have never bought an album where every song was fantastic. The sound, the voice, the creativity. You can't go wrong with this CD. I'm buying more of his music.

I had no idea who this dude is, but I was drawn to this CD in a local Tower Records store almost 10 years ago. I loved almost every song from the first time I heard it, and my affection for it has only deepened through the years. I live in Southern Nevada (yeah, please offer your condolences) but I take 7-hour drives to see my family in Northern Nevada. This CD and the open road go so well together.

Is it Joe Cocker? No. Is it Ray Charles? No. It's....Zucchero!! And Zucchero is a genius. Pure and simple. This album is amazing. SO many favorites.... Blue, with Sheryl Crow is beautiful. Cosi Celeste with Cheb Mami is unforgettable. I Lay Down with John Lee Hooker, haunting. Muoio Per Te with Sting, fabulous. Buy this album and enjoy the immense talent and versatility of Zucchero. Ah, so sweet!

Love this CD. Heard this guy on Pandora, and went and got the CD. This one is songs he did with other artists, whom you probably have heard of, mostly in english, and very jazzy and bluesy. Really nice. I'll be buying more from this guy.

I bought this album for the song "I Lay Down" [with an angel] after my dear friend passed away too young. The words to the song were spot on and to this day, it's hard for me to listen to this song. However, the whole album includes guest artists such as Sheryl Crow, Sting, Eric Clapton, and many more, and is interesting to listen to; not boring. Highly recommend this album!

This is a studio recording of all the familiar songs of his or someone else's in English. His voice effortlessly surpasses any male vocal artists and set you in the right mood and clear your mind for sure. But, find his live video clips on-line or DVD, and you will get the instant chill from Mr. Sugar's spiritual sounds. The compilation of this CD is OK, half of them are great and with the other half, well, having those guest singers sing along, his voice get more pop-like and screened.

I can't get enough! I only wish he made a double cd with more friends! Zucchero is my very favorite musician of all time! This CD will not disappoint! Seller shipped quickly and price was great!

My new favorite CD. Zucchero himself has an awesome voice. When you add it to John Lee Hooker, B.B. King and others it is truly amazing. Yes, there is a fare amount of Italian lyrics but I hardly notice while it is playing. At least 10 of the tracks are worthy of radio air play on American radio. There is a little bit for everyone except the head bangers. It is really amazing the amount of super stars that leant there talents to this CD. You won't be dissapointed.
