The 3-pack for 300 total filters is a good deal. Note the 02 sized filters actually are taller and extend above the lip of Hario's 02 sized V60. For a single cup of coffee, you could use the smaller sized filters. There have been variations of these filters over time. I can confirm that currently the 3-pack (300 filters) white 02 are Made in Japan. And even though the product description states import from Japan, there were no extra fees/tariffs charged by Amazon beyond the listed price.

Works really well and price is on point. The draw down time is not the fastest but it’s a good balance between speed and good filtration. It allows me to grind a bit course sometime which decreases channeling. Would recommend for sure. Other options are available but certainly a lot more expensive with diminishing returns.

If you want to do pour over coffee, and you have a V60, these are perfect filters. They come with tabs, are bleached and easy to use.

I received the newer updated version of these filters from a Japanese seller. They have green plastic packaging instead of the pink shown in the item images. They are different but not necessarily worse. The newer filters have have a higher flow rate so your draw down will be much quicker. You have to adjust your grind size to compensate. I don't know if these newer filters are capturing fewer fines. Depending on the seller, you might still receive the older pink packaged version with slower flow rate.

If you're a coffee purist, grinding only the best and freshest beans, then you're probably used to Hario's groundbreaking set of products. Sure, there are lots of imitators now, but if you want a perfect cup every time, Hario will always get you there. These are the white paper filters, and they fit the Hario drip perfectly. There is also a Hario ceramic holder that holds them neatly if you're into matching. As for the the filter performance, they don't let through any grinds and the coffee moves briskly through it. I would call this a "fast" filter: if you want a slower filter, the un-dyed ones are much slower. They don't add any taste to the coffee and even if you just let water through it, you never get that papery taste that other filters sometimes add. It's a fairly thin paper so it is good for premium coffees where you don't want to lose anything. Thicker filters can take out some bitterness, but also filter out some of the precious oils and flavour compounds. These ones really let the coffee shine.
