It also works beautifully in simple dishes where the pasta itself can shine. Despite its thinness, Barilla’s angel hair holds its shape well when cooked properly and doesn’t easily clump or turn mushy if you keep a close eye on the timer. Because it’s so thin, it can overcook quickly. Timing and stirring are key to achieving that perfect al dente bite.

Good texture and flavor is subtle

My 36 year old son turned us on to this macaroni!! I had never even heard of it. He told me where he purchased it and I decided to see if Amazon offered it and VOILA there it was! He paid 5 something for one bag (his came in a bag) and I paid 8 something for 3 boxes!!! And now that I'm reviewing this cool macaroni, I think I'm going to be using it for dinner tonight! Fun shape whether you're just throwing some sauce and meatballs on it or great for soups as well!
