This was a great stool. It is sturdy, attractive, and not too difficult to assemble. Unfortunately, I didn't consider the height before ordering. It is tall. I have some mobility issues, and needed it to sit on while doing dishes, etc. I couldn't get all the way up on it That is on me, though, got not looking more closely at the measurements. My only real compyis the feet on it are not rubberized, but plastic, and slipped easily on my kitchen floor.

A musical group needs stools to sit on, while their rehearsals are taking place. A previous student suffered, a mechanical failure and fell to the ground. We purchased two of these stools because they were safer in their wide stance and sturdy construction. It’s nearly as I can tell they meet all the criteria for a utility store. I think you’ll be satisfied with them, they are not living room furniture but then again, they don’t cost very much either.

Now that it’s assembled, I like the stool. I’m a mechanic so it sits in front of my double bay box and I sit to write on repair orders. Assembly directions aren’t the best, but you’ll figure out. However, with that said, mounting the seat assembly to the frame is engineered for VERY small fingers, very little room to hold a nut in place and use screwdriver in other.

My first time sitting on it, the screws loosened and caused the seat to slide off. After retightening the screws and attempting to sit again, the base (including screws and bolts) came off from the under seat, leave the seat unattachable to the metal base of the stool. I am not sure if the wood of the seat is too weak, but it is not sturdy or safe.

Everything I needed. Bought this to play my upright bass so I don’t have to stand all night.

So the chair is comfy and a good height. My swivel works. After a month, 2 of the 4 screws that hold the seat on have fallen out. They will not stay in. And the material in the seat has compressed to make the cover loose. I will try to fix but oh well.

Assembly was simple but not well documented. Finished unit is very stable.

The foot rest is to high, the seat is really cheap and poorly upholstered, but it was easy to assemble. I will not buy again

Was a Christmas gift and just opened it now. Absolutely useless. Parts missing, pole not secure and cheaply made. Past date to return so we're out $150. Do not buy!!!!
