I purchased these antenna at the recommendation of friends who have and use them on their Baofeng UV5R radios. They are very happy with the performance signal and range reception. The 4 star rating is only because I have not been able to use and therefore rate the antenna's performance myself. They were well packaged for shipping and arrived undamaged. I think the price is very reasonable, I mean a pair of antenna for $13, now that's affordable. The antenna fit my Baofeng UV5R 8W radios perfectly with the use of the provided rubber washer between the antenna base and radio. How well the antenna hold up to constant folding and unfolding is another issue that only some time will tell, but considering the antenna is made of measuring tape, and I've some measuring tapes that are decades old, I expect they will hold up well for a long time. I will try to update my rating after a few months of use and add some photos or videos.

Had to chop a little plastic rubber off the base to fit into my sma slot. Works better

It works good however, the solder breaks in the base of the antenna too easily.

These antenna gives a noticeable gain in reception, they work great
