Sounds good and its Cheap
General infoI used this port to create a home theater sub using the Dayton MKIII 15" woofer. For this installation I have the port mounted in the back with the sub facing forward. I can easily say that I cannot hear any port noise. My subwoofer response is quite low, dynamic and smooth. Even at high volume levels I dont hear a hint of the port.InstallationThe product was quite easy to install. 1st cut the port to desired length, 2nd glue together using a strong adhesive ( i used krazy glue) 3rd position then cut out a hole in your sub box for the smaller end of the port, 4th mount using 4 screws ( these are not included).I would recommend this port based on its efficiency, low cost, and ease of installation.

The Best Commercial Round Port Available
The port is of very high quality. Fit and finish are great. It even comes with a sheet that tells you how to calculate the length to which you should cut the middle tube. The only thing I could find wrong was that the seams inside the port didn't match up perfectly. I would suggest mocking the tube up and sanding down any interior ridges before gluing it together. Sealing the mounting surface with silicone isn't a bad idea either. I used the 4" port in a 2.32 cu. ft. box tuned to 32Hz. My 12" 250 watt MTX subwoofer moves a lot of air and the port is dead silent. Not a bit chuffing can heard. Worth every penny.

Great port
Used this to tune a ported sub box for my 12” P3 punch rocksford sub and it hits low so well, reliably, and with only 400 watts rms. My sub hits harder than two twelves on a 1500 watt amp🤣🤣🤣

Perfection in a tube!
It was a bit long, but it comes in prices and assembles extremely easy. Cut it down, measure, put in length to calculator, find your optimum tuning frequency and go from there. My enclosure went from a 42hz prefab, to a 31hz custom. Sounds ten times better, especially on really low bass!

essential for high-performance ported subwoofers
I used this for a 12" home subwoofer in a 4.6 cu.ft enclosure, tuned to 20 Hz. It's easy to install, and the flared ends eliminate chuffing and give a professional look. If you don't cut the tube, it gives 18" total physical length, but 17" effective length (the length used in the tuning calculations). If needed, it can be cut a lot shorter. Each port is composed of 5 pieces: two flared ends (the outside flare is a little wider than the inside one), one 4" diameter tube, and two identical collars which connect the flared ends to the tube. The only thing I don't like is that, as of early 2017, there are no curves/elbows available for these Precision Ports. I don't know if regular ABS plumbing elbows would fit. So using the tube at longer lengths requires a large enclosure. You need to use ABS cement (glue) to join the 5 pieces together. After you've applied the glue and pressed the pieces together, you only have a few seconds to twist or re-position the pieces, if necessary. After that it's permanent. The key is to fit the pieces together properly and quickly. If you don't have experience gluing ABS tubing, it's best to practice on scrap tubing first. Also, it's easy to get beads of excess glue to drip out on the inside. It won't affect the sound but will be unsightly. You can scrape off excess glue with your fingernail about 30-60 minutes after applying.

Precision 4" Flared Port tube kit
Bought this port for a DYI sub box for my home theater. I was able to buy it through Amazon for the same price as parts express but the shipping was about 50% cheaper. Good construction, easy to assemble and install. Made my finished subwoofer work great.

Great Port!
I bought this to match with an Infinity Reference 1260w sub woofer for a custom build. This port comes with all you need for assembly as well as detailed instructions on how to calculate the length of the port needed. I've had the sub built for a week and am breaking it in easy. Even with under a quarter of rated power going to the sub, this port and box design makes my room rattle. The best part is that it is flared , so there is absolutely no port noise. Works perfectly! Smooth, clean bass!
