Cajun Injector 22174.01605 Hot 'N Spicy Marinade

I really enjoy this brand of marinades, all the flavors. The cost has gone up quite a bit over the years, and is now in a plastic jar no longer glass, but it's worth it for a treat.This flavor is really surprisingly hot! Not burn your mouth hot or anything, but a definate flavor burst. I use these to inject my chicken breasts (overnight in fridge) before bbq.

Makes the Turkey spicy but not over the top. I recommend placing your Turkey in a brine for 24 hours prior to using this product.

I’ve been using the creole butter version for fried turkeys for well over a decade and have never seen this before this year. Figured I’d use it for one of my turkeys this year and it was a big hit. I’ll still use creole butter for one of my turkeys for the kids but the rest of them will be getting stuck with this spicy goodness.

I love spicy, flavorful food of all sorts. I had high hopes for this, but I was really disappointed. I injected a large turkey breast and smoked it on a Big Green Egg. The meat was very moist and flavored throughout. The problem is that this "hot and spicy" marinade is simply hot sauce like Texas Pete or Red Hot with quite a bit of black pepper mixed in. There are no other flavors evident like garlic or onion or butter or lemon, etc. If you like turkey with hot sauce on it, then this might appeal to you. But then again, why would you spend this kind of money when you can buy Texas Pete much cheaper?

The injector works perfectly with the Canjun Butter. The flavor isn’t over powering nor over spicy.

Was easy to use to inject my Turkey before Deep Frying it, end result very tasty!
