Saved me when I was doing my Fuel Pump job on my truck. Not much to this filter. It is an exact replacement and probably takes 45 seconds to replace. You will need a fuel line tool which will cost you less than $5. Comes with the metal holder, which helps those who live in the rust belt.

Perfect fitment.
Exact OEM replacement for my 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0L gas engine. I have no idea why these come with the clip/mount pre-installed - what's wrong with using the old mount? Anyway - easy to install and these are often overlooked maintenance items.

Motercraft gas filter FG-1071
Loved that this motercraft filter came with a new mounting bracket! Used on my 2000 ford ranger with 257,000 miles and still runs. Great to find a quality motercraft filter for a good price.

Fits 2000 Ford Ranger 2.5L
Filters fuel so well it's like it was designed for it! I haven't tried it with water yet, but I'm optimistic.

Fit perfectly, had no issues. I recommend that if you are replacing this a Ranger, take off the truck bed, remove the bolts and the gas cap and off and pull it back a bit.

Snapped right in and on the road.
Can't go too far wrong when the piece snapped into place easily. The retention clips on the fuel lines sometimes need replacing, but those are not too hard to find.
