Changing thought to change the world
This is an excellent book. It is easy to follow, with real-life examples and techniques. This self-help book will explain CBT techniques and how they can be used to combat mental health problems like anxiety, depression and more. As it says in the book, if you are on medication, always check with a doctor before making any changes to medication. This technique, explanation, and exercises in this book will give you a starting point and are 20% of the work. The other 80% has to come from you, and changes will not happen as soon as you read this book. This is just the first step in a new direction and new way of thinking.Even if you do not suffer for any mental illnesses, (or like me don't think you do), you just would like to be change your way of thinking or reacting to situations this is a great book yo read, learn from and put into practice.

Bought for anxiety
I bought this book to try and help me overcome my anxiety. I do think this is gonna be really benefial to me and other people. The book talks about what cognitive therapy is, and then goes on to talk abt CBT for some problems such as depression, anxiety, insomnia, ocd and intrusive thoughts, procrastination, releasing regret and getting over guilt, beating addiction, overcome jealousy, and becoming more assertive and coping with criticism. As you can tell from this the book is for a wide range of people. So far I’ve only read the anxiety section and in there, it’s packed full of activities which gets you thinking about anxiety and how you are gonna overcome it. The book seems really useful and is comforting. The book also gives you a link to a free 10 minute meditation to relive anxiety and stress which is a nice bonus. Overall, I would recommend this 🌟

Simple but effective methods to help with a range of day-to-day issues
This book was great for highlighting the day-to-day issues we face - like feelings of anxiety, low mood or dealing with criticism - and provides simple but effective methods to help upkeep our mental health. As someone who is quite anxious and afraid of letting people down, I found this book to be very useful. Even sections that aren't completely relevant to me still have messages and activities that can be applied to different aspects of life.

easy to read
my wife bought this book for me,as i was experiencing some mental health issues.namely social anxiety and confidence issues.i found the book easy to read.also there was a chapter on different issues relating to mental health.as she stated at the start of the book, simply reading this book alone will not make any difference to how you feel.i could relate to many of the chapters i.e feeling inferior, social anxiety, change falicy.i have started putting some of the techniques and tips outlined in this book into place.i have made some positive baby steps.i know it is going to take a bit of time, but i am determined to see this through, with the help of this book.
