I got this unit to replace an older one that finally gave in. To me it is a basic unit that does its job. Lacks any advanced features but I'm not missing them. I use mainly pre-made bags so the missing roll storage is not a problem. I'l take the compact size over the storage. Pros: Small size, easier to store, solid vacuum and seal, simple to operate and use. Cons: no space to hold bag roll, does take a bit of force to lock the lid - hopefully this will not be a problem down the road.

We bought this for a Christmas gift for our daughter-in-law, since we've had such a great experience with ours. It's easy to use, works consistently great, and saves us so much money on meats, that we buy in bulk on sale, and then package in meal-ready quantities. Highly recommend.

If you're on the fence about a vacuum sealer, you probably won't regret buying one. If you have a family to feed and want to save money buy buying meat and veggies in bulk and freeze, this one will pay for itself in just a few weeks. Even if you decide on spending a little more on a different one, you should get one regardless. This one in particular is a decent "cheap" sealer. For the money, it works great. Some reviews say it stops working, mine works fine after 2 years. I did give it 4 stars because it does struggle sometimes to seal moist foods but if you switch to the dry setting while leaving the lid latched and press seal again and just let is go for 4-5 seconds more, it seems to work fine. Also, clean your sealer strip. It helps, as when it gets dirty (and it will) it doesn't make contact as well. Overall, it's affordable, fast, easy to store, easy to use, and even if SOMETIMES you'll have to do it over to seal, it's still well worth the money. You could pay a lot more and still have issues. If mine were to break today, I'd buy another one tomorrow.

it works well but I wish there was a cutter to cut the bags with. the size is great and the seal is fast

So easy to use and store. No problems with freezing, and easy to seal as long as you cut the right size. If it's too small, it won't seal or vacuum. Price is okay, but have since found it a few dollars less at other stores.

Very useful, easy to use and does a great job of sealing the bags. Only downside is fall is that it doesn’t have cutter install. Would recommend this product especially since I caught it on sale

I bought this in March 2024 and it has been doing a great job since the beginning. The machine does not require a wide seal like other machines do so you can save a lot on bags over time. I've been using it fairly regularly since purchase and yesterday about a year and a half in it decided not to do the vacuum seal anymore. It will still seal but unfortunately the vacuum part has decided to no longer work. So unfortunately, while I was extremely happy with it in the beginning, I am no longer happy because in the middle of packing up 20 lb of meat it decided to no longer work. If you can get it at a good deal, it's worth it for a while. It is easy to use. There's not a tool to cut the bag which is fine. A pair of scissors does the job just as nicely. It is a great starter machine and it is very compact for storage.

1. Nowhere in the description or photos does it even mention that this isn't wired for Australian power or have an Australian plug. 2. The package had obviously been opened and repacked. There were no instructions or even basic safety information included 3. The whole thing just feels cheap and like a bad rip off product rather than a genuine FoodSaver???

After waiting more than two weeks for this to arrive, I received a defective unit. The packaging was sketchy as if it was opened before!

Once you figure it out, it works great.

Works as it says. This is my second one and it’s much harder to close but does the job .
