Although this book is from the UK, it is still relevant, current and tackles all of the problems we face in American society. I was pleasantly surprised that the case studies cover many diverse populations (people with learning disabilities, gay couples, various ethnic backgrounds, etc...) I highly recommend this very easy to read book. Review: Useful - I use it for preparing my RD exam. Just be aware of its units of lab data.

Does anyone know how to find the password for the additional resources on their website? I am trying to find it in the book (5th Edition) with no success.

It is great to have these case studies as a student about to embark on placement. These case studies help me to determine if I am on the right track with approaching patient issues and advising.

Very comprehensive, a must have fire any Dietetic student. Obviously because legislation & adviceis constantly changing it is hard to keep up to date, for instance the Eatwell plate in this edition is not current.
