Men's Genuine Lambskin Leather Jacket (Black, Biker Jacket) - 1501200

Really glad I took a chance on this jacket. I was unsure what quality leather, tailoring, and craftsmanship to expect, but I'm very pleased with the producr all around. This is a nice jacket! I’m thrilled to find a good-looking jacket that fits my unusual size, and doesn’t break the bank. I’ve already placed another order to see how well they do with black cowhide. Fit / Tailoring For me, this is the big issue. I’m 6’2”, 180#, with especially long arms. Off the rack mediums fit my torso, but my sleeve length is XL. Trying to get standard size clothing tailored to fit me, and even ordering made-to-measure from some places, often results in awkwardly fitting unwearable disasters. But I’m stoked with the job Laverapellle did. It fits! The sleeves are just the right length, and it’s a good slim fit through my chest and waist. It looks good over a t-shirt, and looks snug but not stressed over a sweatshirt. I was worried that without an action back the sleeves might get too short when my arms are forward for driving/punching/zombie-walking. But no, the arm holes and nice and high and the sleeves don’t shrink dramatically through my range of typical motion. Detailing The model 1501200 seems (very) inspired by another designer’s jacket. I prefer the collar on that other designer’s pictures, but this jacket is no slouch. The stitching is all attractive, and the hardware works well. I like the attention to detail that’s been put in, like the inclusion of a sewn-in spares pouch, and how the trim along the exterior pocket zippers hides everything but the slider bar. Feel It’s lambskin. It feels soft and great, and like most real lambskin jackets it feels thinner and more delicate than many other leathers. My wife’s italian lambskin jacket does have a finer slightly more buttery feel. Color The Vax Brown is okay. It’s a medium-tone brown, but it’s a little more reddish than I was expecting. It’s a terracotta hue. There’s some applied mottling in the darkness which, in person, looks a little applied. But for a $200 made-to-measure jacket, I'm not complaining. Pockets Pockets overall are very good. The lower front pockets are not zippered, and are deep enough to get fists into. I like that they’re diagonally cut, as I’ve found vertical unfastened belly pocket openings can tend to pucker after I’ve had a big meal. The upper front pockets are zippered, and deep enough I could fit my flat hands entirely into them. The left arm pocket is a real pocket. And it’s big enough I can fit my flat hand entirely in it; you’ll fit your smokes in there no problem. The two interior breast pockets (one is zippered, one is not) have a nice leather trim at the opening, but are bigger than I would like. I’d say they’re roughly the size of CD jewel cases (ask your parents), so my phone or glasses tend to end up on their sides deep at the bottom and aren't quick to retrieve. Service My order was filled flawlessly, so I didn’t have an opportunity to test their customer service. I submitted my unusual body measurements and very reasonable payment on the evening of January 10th. A perfectly-fitting, stylish, quality lambskin jacket arrived on my doorstep the morning of January 21. What a time to be alive!

5'10 180, typically wear a large size shirt. Chest is about 41', athletic build. The Large size jacket fit just a tad bit tight. When zipped up, extending the arms forward there is a bit of tightness at the back, so I ordered an XL to compare it to. The XL definitely fits better around the chest, sleeves are a tad bit longer and I could also comfortable wear that size. I opted to stay with the large because I like the slightly more slimmer fit at the arms and chest. As for the quality, it's beautiful with finely detailed craftsmanship, hard to find a flaw on it. I took a chance like many others and was not only surprised, but excited with my new jacket. This company is doing fine work. Highly recommended.For the price, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

I ordered a custom black jacket with nylon liner, and it fits perfectly. The stitching and general workmanship are great. They packed the jacket very well, putting tissue paper to avoid leather-on-leather rubbing to minimize any possibility of damage. It comes in a cloth bag for additional protection. My wife really liked it when I modeled it for her. The soft lambskin feels great and allows for easy movement. The inside pockets will fit a larger cell phone and glasses. The sleeve pocket is deeper than I expected. This is a great looking and great fitting, lightweight jacket that I can wear anywhere. Time from order to arrival was 21 days, a week faster than estimated. Highly recommended!

Do not follow sizing. Bought this as a gift and he typically wears an XL. This fit him like a medium. Thankfully the return is easy and we will try a different size. 1 star for terrible sizing. I mean, just awful. Otherwise the jacket is very nice. It is thinner and more of a light jacket and not a winter jacket. More for dress than for function.

Most definitely order 2 sizes up, at least if you are used to US sizes. Originally got a medium but it fit more like an XS or a child's size. Returned for an XL and it fits much better more like a M. Leather is soft but very very thin. For the price you can't expect much in terms of leather quality. Overall it looks great, though. It's decently stitched and you get what you pay for.

I take a size small. Ordered small in Vax Brown. Fit perfectly! High quality leather and polyester lining and zippers and snap buttons and pockets. Smells, looks and feels like leather. Has a nice shiny wax coating. Well done hand stitching throughout. Very pleased. Very cool style. I really like it!! I read some negative reviews before I bought, which said leather was cheap and thin and smelled bad, lining was poor quality and fit was too small. I decided to buy anyway. I have no complaints. I am thin. If I was a overweight person, I can imagine the fit would be too small. The surprise was the fast shipping: It took about 6 days before it shipped; they shipped it from Pakistan next day air via FedEx. The listing on Amazon said it "usually ships in 3 to 5 weeks." So I was very happy I received it so quickly.

I had a little trepidation when I saw the package was arriving from Pakistan, having no idea of the quality of clothing made there. I was greatly relieved when it arrived (weeks early). It is beautiful! While the tailoring may not be that of a $500 Jacket (a very slight pucker here and there) there are no obvious flaws in the leather and it is kid soft and supple. The leather is quite thin but of good quality. If you live somewhere cold you're going to need a sweater too. But here in CA it is the perfect winter leather jacket. Fashionable, comfortable, with good attention to detail. All the zipper pockets are real and I even got an inside zipper pocket I wasn't expecting. Mine came with a $20 off next purchase coupon that will definitely get used.

Liked the overall fitness and design except for the sleeves. For a medium size jacket I found the sleeves a bit too long. You'd have to be a monkey with long arms to fit in that jacket? Will have it altered soon.
