Great Product
Bought a new box with built in wifi but din't have the RF out at back to feed the room upstairs. So go this and it worked perfectly via the I/O out on back of new box. No problems setting it up. Picture quality great. Works perfectly with Magic Eye.

Works great
Looks decent bit of kit, works perfectly and does also work with my sky eye as claimed, although I have got a splitter/amp in the loft that feeds several rf sockets and gives 9v to them all anyway so I did expect the Sky eye to work with this setup. As many reviewers have pointed out, you need to enable the rf2 in the settings menu on the Sky box for this to work. Also to answer my own question (I thought I'd give this a punt as it was 1/2 the price of some of the other I/O devices) it will support terrestrial loop through for other channels - to clarify this: I have the main rf feed from my digital ariel that goes directly into this device and then back to my splitter in the loft; that is then fed to all the TVs in the house. As well as Sky, they are able to receive all the terrestrial digital channels that are free to view.

Excellent item & a great price
Excellent item & a great price. The hard drive in our Sky+ HD box got fried, and we purchased a brand new one from a great seller (in another place), but my wife was not pleased that she couldn't watch in bed, as it had no RF outlet, as is standard on all the new boxes, so bought this item. Installation was a doddle, and the feed to the other TV is now actually better than with the old box. Would have no hesitation in buying from this seller again, as the service was first class, Original due date was well after the new Sky+ box was due to arrive, but in the end, it beat the box to my door. Great service, thank you.

Not happy
Connection to the Sky+ box was mechanically loose and electrically intermittent. Worked fine initially but when I repositioned the Sky+ box (slightly) I lost all signal. Suffered intermittent failure for three days but then couldn't find a good position at all. Don't know yet if the I/O link has failed or the Sky+ output has been blown. Tomorrows receipt of an I/o link from Sky will provide the answer.

Superb Quality and Value for Money
Excellent buy. The unit itself feels sturdy and well made compared to other similar units. Plugs into any Sky HD box (not Sky Q) that has a IO port. You need to ensure that the RF port and also RF power output (for the magic remote eye) are on within the Sky box settings. To do this with the newest version of the Sky firmware (2017) you highlight the services box / icon and then press 0, 0, 1, select and then look for the RF settings and change the channel number you want the remote tv to be tuned to in order to receive the signal. You then tune the tv which needs to have an analog tuner (a lot of brand new TVs are digital tuner only and therefore won't work with analog systems like this). Picture and sound quality were excellent and much better than expected but of course not HD quality given it's displaying a picture via a RF feed but still very good quality. In my job I use a lot of these types of boxes and this one has been the best I have come across so far and will definitely be buying again.

Horses For Courses
Just changed a Sky+ Box with built in RF to a Sky+HD without RF so bought one of these. Sets up ok but I am feeding another TV with a coax lead of approx 40ft run. Whilst I can get the picture through, I notice a degradation of picture quality compared to the old box. The length of coax most likely is the problem. If you have a reasonable distance between your Sky HD box and another tv that you are feeding then it may be prudent to go for a modulator that is powered and will boost the signal .If it is a small distance then I believe it will be ok.

Works Well
Allows an old school SkyHD box to share the active channel being viewed via the RF to a second TV. Works very well, of course the RF picture is analogue and not digital so expect some reduction in quality but overall this provides a good solution for sharing to another room.
