Absolute game changer! We processed 30 meatbirds and using those shrink bags was super easy and it even comes with a little tube so you don’t have to poke a hole in the bags to get the air out. They work just as advertised! I recommend around 190-195 degrees and about 5seconds. The size was perfect for our birds (biggest one was 10lbs) but could’ve fit a bigger one as well. They seem to be pretty thick too so I’m sure they’ll last. For the price I can’t say anything negative!

Worked great for my chickens

These poultry shrink bags worked perfectly for processing both my rabbits and chickens. They shrink tight, seal well, and give a clean, professional look. The included zip ties make it easy, and the little silicone straw works just like it should for getting the air out. Poultry shrink bags are an essential part of any home processing project. We’ve been using a variety of brands for years, and always found them to add the perfect touch to the final product. These particular bags are well packed and have all the essentials, including the air release tube and zip ties. They were of decent quality and weight, and were able to store a chicken from under 3 pounds to over 4 pounds. The thickness is good and the size is as well. I think they will be plenty durable for our freezer, and I was happy with the overall quality. The only drawback is they tend to not shrink as tight as I’d like. You don’t wanna have to boil your bird to get the shrink bags to give you that extra tight seal. What I’ve noticed over the years is that they tend to shrink less than they used to. That could just be me, and it’s not applicable to any single brand, but these were the same. Just wish they would get tighter without applying too much heat. Overall, happy with the product.

The bags sealed worth no issues. The instructions were simple and seemed to keep all in the freezer.

Work great for me.

Pricey. Kinda time consuming and tedious to use. I have purchased comparable vacseal bags to compare the costs/process/time now. Additonal note: the zip ties included with this are GARBAGE! Roughly 1/3 of the zip ties broke before or during the process of closing the bag.

Buy these every year or two for our processing. Fits a 4-8 lb chicken great. Not sure it would fit much bigger. But fantastic. Make sure your “bagging water is hot” bit these are awesome.

First time trying this product. Was recommended by another local farmer. Had water at 190 degrees. Perfect temp. Was surprised how well the bags worked. Bought 13-18 lbs. Size. Will be buying again for SURE!!
