Pretty good buy. I was a little nervous because there were quite a few people whose mirror came broken in the reviews but honestly, I haven’t seen better. Not even in stores like Walmart. Granted, I haven’t looked anywhere else but Walmart but still, I’m so glad I bought this one it’s great. And cheap anddd really easy to put together. I put it together in under 30 mins. t’s great for studio/dorm room living which is what I bought it for. Highly recommend.

I looked at a lot of mirrors that cost anywhere from $50 up to $500. There were mirrors at other online retailers that I considered that cost around $250. I found this one, which matches my decor, and does the job perfectly. It looks good, and it's sturdy. I'm very happy with this purchase. Excellent value.

This kind of tilting mirror is essential when learning the violin, so one may see their left hand and their bow and entire body at the same time. The further you are from the mirror the more vertical the mirror needs to get, which is why these tilting mirrors are the best, you always fit in the frame. If you're close in, then tilt the mirror to frame you better. These were the thing way back in the day, I"m glad they're still being made, and in modern style, too!As for the mirror, the bolts that secure the legs to the uprights took a bit of friendly persuasion to get them all the way into the legs. All the wood is straight, fairly well finished. It's a very satin finish, just a hint of gloss. It's a bit rough, folks, won't lie. They could've done with a bit more sanding. Comparable to Ikea solid wood furniture but a little rougher. The glass is straight and ripple-free, with no distortions. The back is screwed in from the factory with screws every 3 inches or so all around the frame. Sharp edges with no dings. One star deducted for it feeling like it needs another pass with sandpaper before they applied the finish and for the sticky leg bolts that needed friendly persuasion.One thing - when moving these, don't "walk" them. Pick up the whole mirror by the uprights, move it, then put it down. "Walking" a cheval mirror is the quickest way to break it.

Frame was cracked when I opened the package.

Its been getting loose. I've had it for 4 months. But it was easy to put together and didn't come damaged. it was also smaller than what I thought. I am 5'8 and I wish is was at least 5 inches taller.
