Beautiful!
As someone who is an avid fan of good children's books, this one is such a beautiful edition of the fairytale. The pages are sturdy but not made of thick board which makes books difficult to handle. And each page can stand on its own!!! The illustrations are also lovely. Ideal for kids around 2 years.

Poor packaging, damaged product received
The first time the book received was damaged. The packaging was poor. There is no option to return it so I ordered a replacement. The second time , the book received came in good condition and Amazon packaging was good too. About the book : I found it quite average. I understand that every classic story has a slightly different version by every author/publisher but somehow the continuity seems to be lost as one narrates the story to his/her child and it ends abruptly. So I use it for distraction while feeding the baby as the pop up images are interesting.

I expected a big beautiful book. It's so small, and somehow tells the entire story--minus some details-- in a few pages. Pretty disappointed.

This is a very condensed version of the story, it’s only 4 pages. I don’t like the casual mentioning of killing and death—it’s worded in a way I feel is inappropriate for any child that isn’t old enough to understand that yet. I don’t like the illustrations and the emotional display of anger through out. I thought this book would be similar to other pop-up books we have but the way they are positioned in respect to the text makes it hard to read to your child and experience the pop-up pictures correctly.
