ZWILLING Spirit 3-ply 10-pc Stainless Steel Cookware Set

This is a great set! The price I paid $175 can not be beat for the great quality of this set.I originally wanted the 12 pc set as seen at Bed Bath and Beyond, but how could I pass this deal up for HALF the price?! The pans look so nice coming out of the box. As I held one in my hand, it reminded me of my mother's old Rena Ware cookware - she's had them since she got married 30 years ago and they are still great pieces to cook with. The weight of these pans is distributed evenly and there is no extra "bottom" on the pots/pans for that weight/heat distribution as I've seen on many of the cookware sets at Sam's Club, Costco and department stores like JCPenney, Sears, Kohls, and Macy's (i.e. Wolfgang Puck, Kitchen Aid, Cuisinart, Kirkland Signature, JCP Cooks, etc.) I am used to cooking with Stainless Steel pans so I have no problem with sticking/burning food in these. These heat up nicely, so I'd say be careful to not let the pan get too hot or else it WILL stick and be sure to use that oil and/or butter - not a lot, just enough. I am very happy with my new set. I know by the look and feel of it - oh and I've used it quite a bit already since my purchase - that these are going to last a long time. In my opinion, this set is not just a great quality purchase, but also a great investment. I do not see myself having to replace these for many years - Hopefully as long my mom's Rena Ware!

This is a beautiful set of cookware. I love the design and the way each piece distributes heat so evenly. Easy cleanup too. You can find triclad sets that cost more, but this performs just as well. Glad I bought them!!

Good set of heavy duty 3-ply SS cookware that should provide a lifetime of use with proper care. Pans may be too heavy for some tastes, but they retain heat very well. Lid handles are nicely shaped and provide a place to rest a spoon or utensil. The tempered glass lids are nice and thick so it seems break resistant. I noticed some of the handles on the pots and pans were a little sharp in some spots, so used a little fine grit sanding cloth to round the edges in spots. The handles also feel a little oddly shaped to me. Functional but not comfortable IMO. The frying pans seem a bit handle heavy when empty which can lead to uneven temps. Things get better when the pans are filled. Well-constructed although not nicely finished in all cases. I like the weight and having the glass lids, but it's not a perfect set at all. I still give it 4 stars even with its minor flaws. At $350ish it is a decent value. I don't know that it is any better than a $200 Cuisinart set (which is well reviewed) and I'm sure it's not better than a $1000 All-Clad set, but if you want a heavy set of SS cookware with glass lids this set functions very well. I get a nice even sear on meats from both frying pans. Cleans up well every time with BKF. I don't see any discoloration yet, but I haven't abused them at all. The hottest I've cooked is probably boiling water on 7 or 8 on an electric stove. EDIT: Owned this set about 10 years now and have added pieces along the way. The pasta/steamer inserts for the Dutch Oven are the latest additions and I should have gotten them long ago. I now feel the set is 'complete', although a 3 or 4 qt saucepan might be in my future. Also added the 12" frying pan and the 4.6 qt Perfect Pan. The Perfect Pan is a must own and the lid fits on the 10" frying pan as a nice bonus. Totally changed my spaghetti sauce game. It can also fill in for occasional stir fry duty in a pinch and be used for many other dishes. The ceramic set gets mixed reviews like pretty much every non-stick option. Most people probably could get by with a non-stick frying pan or 2 and not much more. A full set of non-stick might be a waste for some. The non-stick surface has been praised by many - but it will wear out. Care in use and cleaning is a must. Although I haven't used the Zwilling ceramics they are certainly better constructed pans than the ceramic pans I do own. I have seen some trusted reviewers praise the non-stick surface. Looks like the 10 piece set is selling for $100 less than the SS set, so that is a bargain IMO. Very tempting at that price. This is a quality set of cookware that has flown under the radar for some reason (SS more so than the ceramic because the surface there has gotten positive reviews). I've had the 10-piece SS set for a decade and with good care and hand washing they are still in great shape. As a bargain hunter of high-quality items, I have no regrets about my purchase even 10 years later. This set has elevated my cooking experience, results, given me confidence to try new recipes and inspired me to elevate my overall kitchen game.

I tried it right away the weight and the durability looks great. It is a but pricey but as the value for the quality is great.

I was expecting a lot more, I got rid of my caraway set because I could not keep it clean and or looking new. Everything stuck especially eggs. I replaced them with this set. The sticking is better, but not great. I have tried every type of precooking oils, butters, ghee. I just haven't found the ones yet.

I ordered these because I saw them being used on the food network shows. Now I know why they use them. These pots and pans are awesome!!! They are heavy and super sturdy. The food heats up so quickly. No wonder those chefs on "Chopped" can cook the food so quickly. Food doesn't really stick. If it does it comes off easily. The other cheaper cookware I always used from the department stores or Walmart can't compare. These are more expensive, but with quality like this, if they are taken care of, they will last a lifetime. I got rid of all my t-fal and other cookware and got another set of Henckels. The difference in how your food comes out is amazing. Food browns better and cooks perfectly even with little added oil or spray. It doesn't seem fair that everyone doesn't have them.

Do NOT BUY this pans. First moth everything great, than all food stick to it..Not possible to clean easy.. I have this pans for a two month and it’s turns bad! Food sticks doesn’t matter what you cooking.
