Very accurate amd well made level. I have a 2foot one as well. They both are much more precise than a standard bubble level. Definatly spend the time on the first calibration and after that this will be your go to level everytime after that.

Very nice level. Skip the calibration instructions included and go straight to you tube. Theres a few different videos on there from Stabila. Im pleased with this level, but the case sucks for what you pay in my opinion. Not only is it a soft case but its padding is thin. Ill either make or buy a hard case for it..

Best smart level on market. Read quickly and accurately

The level to end all levels. If you like quality tools and need a level, then look no further. The audible notification is what I have become most reliant on as it allows me to work without directly looking at the tool. Cannot imagine not having it at this point to be honest. Tested straightness with a Starret square and sure enough this could not be any straighter.

I own about 7 or 8 Stabila levels all in various sizes. This is the first one I have purchased that has the digital element on it. I have to say I was disappointed that the instructions state you need to recalibrate the electronic part every time you use it. I have found that most of the time it is still dead on from when it was last re-calibrated, but it is an annoyance to have to check it. The audible tone is a very nice feature especially on longer levels. Being able to set it up to a specified slope is also a nice feature especially if you are in a situation with any kind of grading work. The option to turn on the display backlight is wonderful in dark work areas. The instructions are horrid. Stabila is a German company that has printed the instructions so that supposedly any language can figure them out. This means it is all pictures and symbols with no written explanations. If you don't understand what one of the hieroglyphs in the instructions means you are out of luck. I recommend searching youtube to learn how to use all the features. The rest of the level is top notch, which is what I've come to expect from Stabila. In the past I have had a level become inaccurate and Stabila replaced it right away without a problem. I would love to retrofit some of my larger levels with the electronic module as it looks like it will fit perfectly in the existing hand-hold grip, but unfortunately it doesn't look like Stabila sells the module separately. The bag that comes with this level is a nice touch, however I find it way too big and bulky to fit in my truck. You could easily fit 3 stabila levels in it if you had to. The price is quite a premium over the non-digital versions, but as a builder who uses levels every day I find it reasonable considering the added features.
