So far so good... I cannot speak about the longevity of this player as I just purchased it. I was pleasantly surprised by It. I had bought an off brand player before and was very disappointed in it. This player has a good picture. The player operates quickly and the disk tray opens quickly and is solid.It actually has a real cord for a power supply at a decent length instead of a small step down transformer that is far too short a cord. It has a REAL PAPER instruction booklet that is legible.It took me a bit to get the icons off my TV screen but the remote was easy to use and I could go though the units layout easily.I look forward to the day when these players have 4K capability but I think it not that important as I am not very happy with the quality of 4K. So far it looks like a very good player. I do not normally do reviews.

We use this player almost daily and it has worked perfectly so far. My dad and I enjoy collecting CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays, and this player reads all of them without any issues. The picture and sound quality are good, and it has been very reliable. A great purchase for anyone who still enjoys physical media.

I have just received this DVD/CD player and it works great. It is capable of playing Blu-ray, but so far I have only played DVDs and CDs. The player is very compact and it fits under my TV (see pic). I have it connected to the TV via HDMI cable and to my receiver by audio cables. I like the fact that it has a display which some players don't. I would suggest some changes for the remote. The play/stop, forward/reverse and skip buttons are all the way on the bottom of the remote (see pic). This makes it harder to use the remote with one hand. It would be much better if these buttons would be more to the middle or top of the remote and just under or over the curser buttons. Since these buttons will be used often, it would also be nice if they were larger. This remote has a lot of buttons but most will only be used occasionally if at all and the ones you use often should be larger.

I was very pleased to discover this little multiregion Blu-ray player! It's compact, offers a crispy high-def picture, and is very easy to use. Just plug 'n' play! The best feature of all is this li'l guy's ability to play NTSC- and PAL-format Blu-ray and DVD discs from myriad regions around the world. There are a tiny few Blu-ray discs from regions that it will NOT play—such as Region B; however, you can learn which ones it won't play by reading the full product-description. But for the most part, it will play the majority of ones you have purchaseable access to. Another great feature is its ability to play video files, audio files and photos/images from a 2.0 flash drive (the only con is that the drive's size capacity must be limited to 128-gig storage; however, this was no deal-breaker). Another plus is that it has no problems playing my home-produced DVD-Rs/DVD+Rs (which is often a playback issue with some commercial Blu-ray/DVD players). On minor drawback, however, is the player's tiny remote control, with tiny buttons that don’t light up upon pressing them (making it a bit of a challenge to determine which one you’re pressing in a darkened room; but again, this is no deal-breaker. Many reviewers here have complained about the continuous glow of the little red power light, but it's not THAT bad unless your eyes are EXTREMELY sensitive to a slight glow in the dark and you keep this player in your bedroom); it doesn't bother me at all. But do keep this in mind *BEFORE YOU BUY*: If you need a Blu-ray player that has built-in Wi-Fi, then this is NOT the player you; since I have other players throughout the house that are Wi-Fi-based, I am good with it. Overall, if you want a solid Blu-ray/DVD player that offers HDMI- as well as RCA-cable connections and one that's capable of playing content from a USB flash drive without issues, then this player is wonderful—and very affordable—solution. Snag one before they go out of stock, and don't forget to purchase the replacement warranty (as I do with ANY players I purchase; it just makes good sense). Was looking for a compact DVD / blu-ray player. Meets all specs requirement except the size! The size / dimensions given is wrong.
