Amazing grill. Great job, Weber!
This grill is fantastic!! I decided to build it myself, and I’m glad I did. Doing it myself allowed me to be acquainted with the parts in a way I wouldn’t have otherwise if it had been pre-built. It wasn’t difficult, but a bit time consuming. As some said, you can lighten the load by cutting away packing material and opening the lid in the box. First, we cut off a side of the box and folded it down, so instead of having to lift up anything, we could just slide it out. Next, we took out various things packed in the grill box itself that lightened the load considerably. Then the main grill just slid out. The directions are pictorial, but understandable. At various times, a second person can help, not so much for weight but for holding pieces in place while you screw something in. It wasn’t too difficult and the end result is very nice. My first project was grilled peppers — piece o’ cake! The came out beautifully. The grill gets screaming hot very fast — that’s great. The peppers were done in record time. Next, I tried a filet mignon. Wow! Following Weber Chef Jack Ovens directions this was the best steak I’ve ever cooked in my life. I did use the Weber iGrill 2 thermometer connection and I’m glad I did…the filet was at 125 very quickly, much sooner than I would have thought. I pulled it off the grill and it was perfect! Did I say I love this grill? The next project was chicken on a rotisserie, an accessory I also purchased. Works great! Grill heats evenly and heats up again quickly when the lid has been opened. The temperature gauge on the cover is great, front and center and is really useful. Cleaning is straight forward, and the "flavorizers" deflect grease to a catch pan - nicely done. This is the best grill I’ve every owned, and I recommend it highly.

Quality little grill with great features
Overall, this is a great little grill. While I've only had it for about 9 months, I’ve had zero issues so far. The burners fire up right away and the grill gets hot quick. I also really love the side burner, which is big enough to fit my 10” cast iron skillet and thus less smoke/grease in the how if I want to make mushroom with the steak. I also love the sear station which really helps when you’re trying to get a nice even crust on the steak. This grill also surprised me with how fuel efficient it seemed to be. I grill about once to twice a week; and have only gone through about one and a half tanks in 9 months. I also love how it looks and it’s perfect for small places like my 10x12’ patio in Chicago. There are two critiques. First, assembly is not exactly a walk in the park. It took me about 3-4 hours to put it together. The instructions could definitely be better. That said, when I got confused at one point, Weber’s customer service was great and helped me figure it out in a few minutes. The second critique is that this grill is hotter in the back than the front. This is because there is a small burner running horizontally in the back. However, so long as you are cognizant of this, you won’t have any issues with uneven grilling. Overall, I think this grill delivers on its promises and is good bang for your buck.

Well worth the money
Fantastic grill for the money and very high quality. Well worth the extra cost over some of the cheaper brands out there. Here are some of my observations: 1. Box is VERY heavy so make sure you take that into account. The delivery driver was kind enough to put it in my garage for me as I did not have a handtruck to move it, but yours may not so keep that in mind. 2. Setup took approx. 2 hours taking my time and being extremely careful. A good screwdriver and a couple of box end wrenches were all that was needed tool wise. Definitely helps to have a helper during the process as well as a large area to lay out all the pieces. During the setup you can definitely tell that the grill is MUCH higher quality than other brands out there. I've had 3 Charbroils (last one completely rusted out on the inside after 4 years) and they are not even remotely as nice or well made as this Weber. I fully expect this thing to last as long as they say it will. 3. The sear burner is a very nice feature to have. Made some strip steaks my second time using the grill and they got a fantastic sear/crust on the outside. Just make sure you take the extra heat into account when cooking. 1-2 mins per side over the sear burner was plenty, finished them indirectly after that. 4. Size is perfect for cooking for 3-6 people easily without crowding the grill surface. The Genesis line is a bit larger surface area wise, but honestly dont see the need unless you are cooking for many more people regularly. 5. The fuel guage/tank hanger is cumbersome. Lifting a full propane tank into place and hooking the little hanger on the handle is a bit of a pain but doable. Just watch your fingers. 6. Cleanup is VERY well thought out on this grill. There are 2 removable grease trays/traps that work very well and Weber even included a tin liner pan for the bottom tray.

Weber.... all that's expected!
This is my first Weber and the first time I've ordered a grill thru Amazon. Easy to assemble and looks to be very sturdy. I'm decent mechanically and it took me 1 1/2 hrs to assemble at a leisurely pace. Instructions were quite easy to follow. My only issue was with the product condition after shipping. The Spirit E330 model come via UPS and weighs 130 lbs. Two pieces of the main frame were bent and the igniter was broken. The bent pieces were pretty easy to get back into shape and I was able to fix the igniter. I have not cooked on it yet and I like to give that end a few months before rating those abilities. I chose the Spirit line because I was able to get the side burner on the lower priced model. UPDATE: Two months later and I'm happy to let you know that this grill is all that its advertised to be. It cooks very well. It is reliable and even in it's ability to consistently cook food on any portion of the grill. The searing function allows me to grill perfect steaks and chops. It was also worth the extra $$ for the side heater.

Good 3 burner grill with side burner. Too expensive for what it is. You pay for the name.
This is my 2nd E330 Weber Spirit grill. Bought previous one at local hardware store. Free assembly, free delivery and some amount of dollars of Weber grill accessories on a debit card which I never used up. Not sure how long the first one lasted. The flavorizer bars burned thru inside of 2 or 3 yrs, whatever the warranty is. They gave me some lip before replacing them for free. The sparker went out and they replaced that but I might have had to pay for it. This grill does everything I need it to do except smoke and I have a smoker for that. A side burner is a must for me and this grill has one. My old grill would barely light the other day and there was not much flame even when it was wide open on the valve. I gave in an ordered another one. Nobody stocks this one anymore. They want to order it or sell you a more expensive one. I knew I was in for a treat having to put this one together. It took me 2 hours and this is not my first rodeo in 60 yrs. A few of the nuts and bolts are almost impossible to get a tool on. Poor design. A cordless drill/screwdriver is handy and not listed as a necessary tool in the assembly instructions. They listed flat blade screwdriver, phillips, 7/16 socket, and two box wrench sizes. I never used the flat head or the wrenches. A little side cutter/wire cutter is very handy as are a pair of heavy duty scissors. You end up with a ton of cardboard and plastic bags. I will recycle all the cardboard. Amazon offers assembly for $75. I would not drive to your house and put this together for $75. So that is a deal depending on what your time is worth. The instructions are all pictures/drawings and to their credit, they are pretty good but not great. Keep trash, leaves, spiders, etc out of the gas valve connectors on grill and tank. I have had to replace 2 gas hose and valve assemblies on my smoker due either trash in the gas itself or trash that gets in the connectors and clogs up the works. May have been what put the last nail in the coffin on my old E330 but I was tired of buying and replacing parts. Also, buy a good grill cover and keep it covered up when not in use. Now if I would just take my own advice.

Great Grill!
I've had Weber grills all my adult life. Will never buy another brand. My last weber lasted me about 10 years, which is great considering I live right by the Gulf and all the salt air. Cooks well and easy to clean! Love it!

Arrived undamaged. Excellent gas grill.
I am seeing a lot of other reviews claiming their grill arrived with damaged parts. My grill arrived yesterday (February 2017) and each part was in perfect condition. Not a dent or scratch anywhere. This grill is excellent. With burner 1 and the sear burner on you can set up a solid 2 zone system for cooking on the right side of the grill with indirect heat. Maintains a very steady temperature for cooking low and slow. Produces excellent heat (over 600 degrees at the grates within 12 minutes on a 40 degree night) for searing on the left side with burners 1 and 2 and the sear burner on full. Solid construction. In my opinion the only weak part of the unit is the handle for the cabinet door- which is plastic and the screws thread in to the plastic- so don't over tighten. Wheels are also plastic but seem durable enough. Little tool hooks on the side shelves are plastic and cheesy. The rest of the grill is solid and gives the impression that it is built to last. 5 stars. ***ONE YEAR UPDATE*** no issues at all after cooking 3-4 times a week all year long on this thing (I use this grill more than I do my oven). Burner tubes/manifold look great. No warping or cracking anywhere. Flavorizer bars showing some wear but look to have years of life left. Ignites every time instantly without fail. Still amazed how precise you can cook indirectly anywhere between 200-425F on the right side. In my opinion, having the sear burner between the left 2 tubes makes this a much better grilling/cooking/smoking machine than the E-310 Still 5 solid stars

Outstanding grill. Great heat distribution. Love the side burner.
I was able to setup the grill by myself once I removed the hood. I accomplished this by tearing one side of the box at the corners so I could remove the two clips holding the pins that held the hood on. Then removed everything from the inside of grill/box. This lightened the main load and made it easy to handle everything. Could have used a second pair of hands for a couple items but not necessary. Grill heats to about 600 degrees during the 15 minute warmup phase then maintains the temp at whatever you set it at for item your grilling. Need to learn and mark grill knob setting for future use in regards to operating temp like any oven.
