I have found nothing to dislike about this phone. I bought it, being my first smartphone mainly to comply with the new track and trace scheme and had no trouble downloading the necessary app. Fitting of the sims and sd cards is easy via the slide out shelf. Battery life seems good - about a week mainly used in standby mode. The camera is very good both in movie and photo mode. My only grumble is that, on receipt the phone is pre-loaded with an Asian language and the instructions to change it to English come in indecipherable non-asian reader mode. However the person on the helpdesk which was easily accessed via my PC , was very patient and resolved my dilemma seamlessly. In summary am more than happy with my purchase (:-)

The Xiaomi Redmi 9A has been a very unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience for me. This phone keeps crashing, making any task a nightmare. It also seems to download apps without my permission, which is a major invasion of my privacy and shows a complete lack of respect on the part of the gadget.Daily use of the user interface is highly painful due to how unclear and unintuitive it is. Additionally, using this phone is a bad experience due to the lack of fluidity and slow performance when executing even simple tasks.There isn't a single good thing I can say about this product. Unfortunately, the return period is so brief that I wasn't able to assess how inadequate the phone was before it was too late.In conclusion, the Xiaomi Redmi 9A's performance and usability fall far short of even the most minimal standards for a smartphone. I cannot suggest it in the slightest, and I'm disappointed with my interactions with it.
