I wasn't sure about wanting / needing 2 channels, and music, but decided to give it a try. Works well. App isn't the most intuitive in the world, but after you figure it out, it's easy enough. Music stuff works OK - speaker has to be close, or loud, to get much going on, and there's definitely some lag, but for the price, it does more than I expected. Remote and buttons on the body are a bonus.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased two of these in 2023 and they both survived, burning man and made our new clam. Art car look great. I’ve never worked with LEDs before, but these controllers with a little bit of trial and air Bluetooth up to my phone with the BanlanX app just fine. I really wish the application had more color patterns of chasing lights. Most of the choices are quite rudimentary and not usable. They could do a lot better by updating the app to sell more hardware. My three favorites were the rainbow, chasing rainbow, and asteroid I believe . For somebody that’s never used these before I could not have made a better choice for the price. But I certainly would pay more for better control. You cannot link up two different SP 608E boxes as far as I know, but the directions did not say what the 123 and four screw holes are on the bottom, if the producer of this product reads this review, please tell me what the 123 and four screw hole wire holes are on the bottom. Can two of these be linked up? I will add more videos to YouTub,e the clam burning man, 2023 art car mutant vehicle .

Perfect for DIY led lights.It does randomly change the effects but still good for me

Works as intended. Connection is not the greatest since once you deleted them from the app it is almost impossible to reconnect. Tried the connection on both android and apple and had problem with both. Easy to install on the wall and I think it will last a long time. Color on the lights was good. Good value tho since you can connect and sincronice all the lights. But when you turn them off and then on you have to re sink them back with the controller or you will have different outcomes from all the lights.

I bought this LED strip controller to use as part of my setup for my patio lights. Over all the controller is pretty well built. Feels solid and like it will last.I bought a cable enclosure, 40a 200 watt 5v DC power supply, LED strips (WS2812B), etc. I wired the light switch for my patio light to turn on the power supply (110v in 5v out) which will turn on the controller and LED strips.I wanted this controller so I could change the LED colors on the fly with my phone and their app.Hooking up the controller: If both LED strips are hooking into the controller without using any extensions, you will be fine. The controller will control the lights. But for my setup I needed to run the one wire 10ft and another 20ft between the controller and the LED strips. The controller isn't strong enough to push data (green wire) that far. I tried all sorts of stuff but nothing worked so I had to get creative. The work around was to connect the controller to 6" of wire that connects to 1-2 LEDs from the strip, then connect the 1-2 LEDS to the 10/20ft wire run. This boosted the data signal.I didn't use the power coming out of the controller, I ran wires from the power supply to the start and end of both LED strips. The wires on the controller are super small. Maybe 22awg if that.The app works well, I haven't had any major issues connecting to it, changing colors, patterns, etc. There was one time the blue tooth wouldn't connect, I closed the app and re-opened it and it worked. But that is pretty normal for blue tooth.The app is pretty easy to use. Turn off one or both strips. Pick a pattern or color for 1 or both strips. I wish the app would allow you to make changes to both strips at the same time instead of applying changes from one to the other. I also wish you could change the colors of the preloaded patterns. But for the price, I'm happy with what it does.The controller picks up music alright and the patterns with change with the music, pretty neat.Overall, I'm happy with the controller.

The media could not be loaded. I've bought purchased multiple SP110E, which appear to be the distant cousin of the SP608E. They were simple and worked very well. I purchased the SP608E in hopes of using it for my audio system. I'm super happy with the features of the device. The trigger functions are really cool, the effects are pretty good (including the Fire effect, which is outstanding for a prepackaged device), and the remote works really well. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to test my unit until well after the return window had closed. The show stopper is the device is faulty? There's a constant flickering of colors on the LED strips. I've tried several different power sources. I've tried several different LED strips. I even tried adding resistor/capacitor to ensure stable voltage/signal. No luck.If you're willing to gamble that the device you receive works, this one is a great choice.Alternatively you could just implament best practices and test the product during the return window z.z
