Fabric stained. Little holding up the mattress.
The daybed came yesterday. At first it looked nice, but once it was almost completely set up we saw that the fabric had light stains, as if it had gotten wet and dusty in places. Also, the mattress sits on top of slats held in place by a single 1 1/2" wooden rail on either side. That's it. There is no other support. I thought my mother could sleep on the bed when she visits, but she's a little heavy, and I don't think I can trust it.

Beautiful and well built. This is not your 'average' day bed frame, this is a beautiful piece of furniture. When used with a firm high quality mattress it is very functional for sitting, lounging, and sleeping. Excellent.
