Baxter of California Cream Pomade for Men | Natural Finish | Light Hold | Hair Pomade

I really like this stuff. I have medium long hair, I sweat a bit, and this has a natural finish without the hard shell feeling. When I sweat, it doesn’t get down in my eyes and burn. It holds hair fairly in place with natural bounce.

I’ve been using this Baxter of California Pomade for years, ever since my hair stylist recommended it, and it’s truly the best I’ve come across! It gives me a great hold without being too stiff or greasy, and it keeps my hair in place all day while still looking super natural. It’s perfect for creating a polished look without that heavy, slicked-back effect some other pomades give. What I love most is how easy it is to wash off—unlike other products that take forever to rinse out, this one comes off cleanly without any buildup. The consistency is perfect for styling without weighing my hair down, and it’s ideal for both casual and more formal styles. If you’re looking for a pomade that gives a natural finish, holds well, and isn’t greasy, this is the one to get. I’ve been loyal to this product for years and can’t recommend it enough!

This pomade is seriously good stuff. Easy to style as you only need a little bit and it holds well yet does not give the spiky look other products will give you; this is best of both worlds. This is exactly what I was looking for, as its not overly obvious that I have product in my hair, but it holds! The scent is also a mild lemon scent, I hate pomades, particularly a very popular one (you can guess which one), that has a awful overpowering smell, like a cheap cologne. I have a mid-skin fade with the top of my hair slightly longer in a sort of faux hawk style (tho i hate the term). I only use a little bit of this stuff, like a tiny scoop with my finger, and its so easy to style my hair. Other products I needed to use more otherwise it looks as if my hair didnt even move. It holds all day, one day I was even outside for 10-20 minutes during noontime with a moderate amount of wind, and my hair still held up past 8pm. I didn't even need to use a bit of water to re-style once I was back indoors. I have done this at night, and while it doesn't make it look completely new, I think for the small amount I use in the morning, this does the trick pretty well and i dont need to re-apply. I was worried that the amount you get is too little, but like I said, you only need a tiny amount, like not even a dime shape, about half of it.

I have wavy hair that's more on the thin/fine side. Product is a little sticky when you first put it in and can be hard to work with. Make sure it dries in the position you want. It can be messed with a little after if you need to touch up, but starts to loose integrity if you mess with it too much. I've rarely been able to go a second day with it still in. Hats are a no, any rain or moisture and it will start to fall as well.

Me and my partner both love this product. Has a great light scent for men or women (in our opinion!) I have pretty straight hair and my hair style is the classic gentlemen’s cut, with a taper fade on the side. This product works perfectly for the style I am looking for. It’s not Greasy or too heavy so my hair doesn’t look overly shiny or weighed down. I apply the product right after I have towel dried my hair. Then I comb my hair back and that’s it! My girlfriend has a shorter cut (best described as a “Long pixie cut” is what she said) and her hair is dark with naturally loose curls throughout. She applies the product when her hairs damp or almost dry and really helps keep her curls shape all day. I don’t know if it would say it’s a “great value”... but we have been paying that price (or more at a barbershop) for years... I don’t get why it cost so much but it seems that everything in this world is an inflated price now. (Especially in the Bay Area!) In summation... we still buy it!

They clearly changed the formula. The packaging is slightly different and the cream itself is much harder than it used to be. It also has an unpleasant odor now. It’s a shame because it used to be a very nice product. Will be forced to find an alternative after several years of use.

I've always had thin/fine hair and have always used hairspray to add some volume and keep it in place., however, after trying this cream pomade, I'm never going back. The pomade gives me a little volume, a light hold, and leaves my hair looking more natural and healthy than hairspray ever did. I'm still trying to figure out how to apply it just right. I've tried putting the cream on my hands and running it through my hair but I didn't care for that look. I found that the best solution for me is to let my hair naturally fall in a style that I like, rub some of the cream in my hands, then sort of run my hands over the surface of my hair. I then use the hair dryer to harden the hold and provide some extra body. It's not an inexpensive product but I imagine that this will last me a few months, and I'm okay with that. There's a very subtle scent to it but it's not off-putting, it smells natural. Overall, I love this product and have been recommending it to all of my friends with thinner-than-normal hair.

Vendu comme de l'argile, c'est une crème. Très mal emballé, le couvercle est arrivé cassé. J'aime pourtant beaucoup cette marque, vraiment déçu.

Esta cera aguanta cualquier peinado pero a la vez dejando el cabello suave, muy recomendable.
