SITKA Gear Men's Core Lightweight Crew Long Sleeve Hunting Shirt

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my husband, and it was a total win. The quality is outstanding—exactly what you’d expect from a trusted hunting brand. It’s lightweight yet provides great protection from the sun and outdoor elements. My husband was both surprised and excited, and it quickly became one of his favorites!

Sitka gear is hands down one of the best made hunting gear on the market. This top is perfect for those hot end of summer beginning of Fall days where your trying to stay cool but cover your skin. The lightweight material is very comfortable and they fit perfect. Especially for big guys like me. I’m 6’4 225 lbs and the XL still fits good as I’m usually in between XL and 2XL on shirts.

My fiancé wore this hunting this year and it kept him not to warm or to hot during hikes!

I just received Sitka’s core lightweight long sleeve shirt. As I have not had the chance to test it in the field, this review is strictly to help guide potential buyers on fit. just for comparison sake, I am 6’2 225lb and I typically wear XL in most shirts and jackets. When researching, I found just a few reviews concerning how Sitka gear fits. According to their sizing chart I would be and XL. Most say it fits true to size, however, I played it safe and ordered a size up as I am sometimes on the border between XL and XXL depending on the merchant. I made the right decision. The XXL fits perfectly. Not baggy or too short and still enough room should you have another base layer beneath. If you are on the fence concerning the size, I would definitely order a size up. You won’t regret it.

I bought the long sleeve for warm days during early bear and grouse season in Western WA. Love the pattern and it seems to be made well. I can't quite figure out what the justification is on the high price for a synthetic fabric stitched together by poor factory workers in El Salvador, but I probably won't purchase this brand at these prices again until they're made by Americans at a fair wage.

Ive worn this shirt multiple times now hunting and its very comfortable. I find it to be light, and the colours are great. I definitely recommend it.

In my opinion Sitka has lifted outdoor clothing to a new level: Combining different core shirts or hoodies with vests or jackets allows you being well protected from the elements - what one can expect from outdoor clothing coming at "gucci" price. But Sitka Gear is on top incredible comfortable! No overheating, no excessive sweating, always dry, no stink! Once you experienced it, you are done with all your garments you used to love. Warning: You will spend a lot of bucks for getting the system completed! ;-) The Core Lightweight is the most fundamental shirt of the series, I wear mine from hot summer roe buck hunts as stand alone until frozing cold winter driven hunts on wild boar and deer as first line of layering.
