Yeah, you can solder your own ends to make whatever you need. It will cost less to purchase just those plugs and do your own work, but people don't value their time. If your bench and tools are already set up, then make your own adapters. If you've got to dig out the tools and don't like to futz with stuff, then go for these adapters. They work really well, not just as a transition between your battery and your rig, but also between your battery and your charger. I think it's worth the money to let someone else manufacture adapters.

I had a few batteries I needed to convert to XT60 and I was thinking about making pigtails, but these adapters are very affordable and well built. Better than what I would have made on my own and was easier. So they’re a no brainer.

These are working well in converting one connector type to another. I keep them on the batteries themselves. The shorter change adapters were perfect, and they don't take up a lot of room in having extra wire to tuck away. Very happy with them.
