I recently build a desk and bought two sets of these legs (desk is large and L-shaped, needs eight legs).Pros:* Black color goes well with the dark walnut color of the desk.* Sturdy. The mounting plates have holes for six screws, and the leg does not wobble once screwed in.* Removable. I wanted something where I could easily remove the legs to move my desk through doorways next time I move, while not sacrificing stability or quality from removing and reinstalling multiple times.Cons:* Tedious to install. To get that good sturdiness, there are six screw holes per mounting plate. That took a while to install. However, this should be a one-time even so it is only a minor inconvenience.* The screws that come with the legs are garbage. They are flat-head. I am not talking about slot drive, I mean the face of the screw head is flat and it has a cone shape where it tapers to meet the shank.For an application like this you are better off with a pan-head screw, where the top of the screw is rounded or hexagonal, with the back of the head flat so it pulls the mounting bracket flat against the wood without bending anything. Furthermore, the included screws are rather long with narrow heads, so they would not grip the mounting plates with much surface area.I ended up buying a hundred hex screws from a home warehouse store. These have wide flanges acting similar to washers, so they hold the mounting plates strongly against the bottom of the desk. I also bought them the correct length, because the included screws would have poked out the top of the desk I built.I definitely recommend this product, just be aware that for best results you will need to buy better screws and maybe washers, too.

I bought these to attach to an Ikea table top that was missing its legs, which were lost during a move. I already had the table top and the metal mounts were already attached, so I was looking for replacements that would screw in. Unfortunately, these have much larger screws and are not compatible with Ikea "Adils" table legs. However, they product includes its own mounts and screws, so everything is included if you have a table top that needs legs and hardware. I'm giving 5 stars because the legs were packed well and the return was super easy.

Pros: The legs were very easy to install and came with all the necessary hardware. The brackets are solid and the legs themselves are goo. The adjusting feet are easy to use and feel sturdy.Cons: the connections between the legs and the brackets are weak and cause the table to shake easily. The weight of my tabletop, computer, accessories, and lamp are probably around 160lbs, so the weight is easily under the weight limit for one leg, let alone four. The bracket could use a longer threaded section to help with the deflection at the joint.

Worked for an old table we had well

Will change the review if and when I receive the missing brackets and hardware. At this point I wrote an email 24 hrs ago without reply after receiving without any product except the legs. No return email yet..Update* seller did credit my first order and replaced the missing hardware. The legs are hollow but hefty and strong, the brackets too, the issue is with the screws. The screws are cheap zinc under strength and in no way support the legs with anything over 20lbs. I tried the screws 1/2 stripped out and one even snapped using just a crew driver (hand turned). I ended up buying 10mm machine screws washers and bolts for around $20 at a local hardware store. While it took time to drill and affix them it worked well.If anyone buying this for any desk or table over 20lbs you would be well advised to get better fasteners as the screws supplied are horrible, the legs and brackets are good.

These legs lasted two months before falling off. Cheaply made and will be stripped at the base if you use them for table legs. Dumpster feeders.

Along with all the other parents who frantically tried to build a desk for their child due to quarantine and found themselves finding little to nothing. I bought the IKEA linnmon table top & used these for the leg support since they were all sold out & the next shipment would be to long of a wait. These worked however they do not line up with the pre-drilled holes under the table top. Not a major issue, just screwed them in as is. Have not had any issues, support is strong as the table top is long for two middle school kids with all the stuff they have on the desk. Overall, good buy, would recommend.
