A Sip of Italian Sophistication
As a coffee enthusiast who’s always on the hunt for the perfect brew, I recently decided to give Lavazza Crema E Gusto Whole Bean Coffee a try, and I must say, it’s been quite the journey for my taste buds! First Impressions Upon opening the 1 kg bag, I was immediately struck by the rich, inviting aroma that wafted out. The dark, oily beans promised a full-bodied experience, and I couldn’t wait to grind them up and get brewing. The Taste Experience From the very first sip, it was clear that this blend means business. The full-bodied flavor hits you right away, with a creamy texture that coats your palate. What really sets this coffee apart, though, are the intriguing spicy notes that dance on your tongue. It’s not overpowering, but rather a subtle complexity that keeps you coming back for more. Versatility One of the things I appreciate most about this coffee is its versatility. While it shines as an espresso, producing a beautiful crema, it’s equally at home in a variety of preparations. I’ve experimented with everything from Americanos to cappuccinos, and the Crema E Gusto holds its own every time. The Blend Lavazza has done an excellent job balancing the flavors in this blend. The combination of Brazilian Arabica with African and Indonesian Robusta coffees creates a harmonious mix of sweet and spiced notes. It’s a testament to Lavazza’s 125 years of coffee-blending expertise. Value for Money At first glance, the price might seem a bit steep, but when you consider the quality and quantity you’re getting, it’s actually quite reasonable. The 1 kg bag lasts a good while, even for a daily coffee drinker like myself. Room for Improvement While I thoroughly enjoy this coffee, it’s worth noting that it might not be for everyone. Some may find the dark roast a bit too intense, and others might prefer a more pronounced acidity. Additionally, if you’re used to single-origin light roasts, the robustness of this blend might take some getting used to. Final Thoughts Overall, Lavazza Crema E Gusto is a solid choice for those who appreciate a full-bodied, creamy dark roast with a hint of spice. It’s a versatile coffee that can be enjoyed throughout the day, whether you’re kickstarting your morning or winding down in the evening. Is it the best coffee I’ve ever had? Perhaps not. But it’s certainly become a staple in my kitchen, offering a reliable and enjoyable cup every time. If you’re looking to explore the world of Italian coffee, this authentic blend from Lavazza is definitely worth a try.

Lavazza Crema e Gusto Whole Bean Coffee
If you've been messing around with 100% Arabica blends and wondering why your espresso looks thin, this is your solution. This blend is an absolute powerhouse. The Robusta kick is exactly what gives your shot that beautiful, persistent crema—it’s thick, golden, and looks professional, even on my modest home machine. It also delivers a caffeine punch that feels less like a gentle morning wake-up and more like an immediate, firm suggestion to get things done. The taste is what I'd call aggressively Italian. It’s strong, has a lovely chocolatey base, and holds its flavor perfectly through milk if you’re making lattes. If you prefer a lighter, fruity profile, this probably isn't your bag. But if you want a bold, reliable, high-octane espresso, this 2.2 lb bag is unbeatable for the price. My productivity loves it, my heart rate respects it. Five stars.

At last, I have found you!
My previous fav was Gran Selezione which is discontinued. That was a tasty coffee. After trying several others I discovered this one. This one scratches that itch. It isn't exactly the same as Gran Selezione but it's quite close - close enough to make me want it again...and again. I like it...a lot. It isn't bitter but it has bite. It isn't too smooth but it's very smooth. It has good crema but that factor is unimportant to me. I tried Barista Gran Crema Whole Bean, Super Crema Whole Bean, Perfetto Ground Coffee Blend, Espresso Whole Bean Medium Roast, Qualità Oro Ground Coffee and many others and THIS one is a satisfying keeper. I use this in my Breville Bambino and I ground it a bit fine. The right grind makes a difference in the flavor intensity. I have yet to try the Forte' version of this but this one is really a good one for me.

The taste of coffee is cheap Robusta taste, even if package info says it is 100% Arabica. I tried this coffee blend before and it was very good. And the bad taste of the product i received now make me think it is counterfeit, or maybe lavazza became garbage. In both cases - i don't recommend this coffee
