I can't remember. These glasses were a joke and ended up at the thrift store as they were a gift given after the return cut off. I would not recommend these glasses.

The bottom of these is not flat. It has a small protuberance that makes them move in a rolling motion. This may be what you are looking for.

what is the diameter of the opening of these glasses? I am curious if the 2.5" diameter ice ball will fit in these globes?

It's 3" in diameter so yea I think that would fit. I love them btw. The decanter is just awesome.
