This is a mop brushes set. Ideal for wet your watercolor paper or brush some areas to be wet. Carries a lot of water. I like that you can detail with the fine tip this mop brush creates. This is a soft squirrel hair brush. Brittles on its place. You can load your pigment and make your strokes easyly, freely and deliberately. I like it. Professional quality. First time I buy Dugato brand and I can tell you I can trust on it. After use them, wash them very well with conditioner soap, like Masters' and arrange the pointed shape and let them (and all your brushes) lay horizontally until get dry. You need to protect your professional tools for many years of quality use.

I love this brush. I use it for watercolors because it holds a lot of water. The brush is well made and has a comfortable handle. The hairs come to a fine point, but basically I use it as a mop brush to put down a wash...

My fav art supply store, Blick’s, is fazing out natural hair brushes which is a challenge with certain art styles. I purchased this 3 pack and the squirrel hair is so nice and soft. Beautiful dome shape. I’ve washed them quite a few times already, and it’s definitely held its shape so far. I’ll be purchasing again in the future. Even really excellent top notch quality squirrel hair brushes eventually lose their shape after so much use. I rotate my brush supply often, so glad I purchased these brushes and the quality is A+

For the price, these are a really solid set of natural hair watercolor brushes. There were a few stray hairs at first, but nothing major, and they’ve held their points surprisingly well with use. Overall, they’ve been a nice little addition to my painting kit and punch above their price point.

I'm honestly a bit surprised at how much I enjoy painting with these brushes. I bought these on a whim and they've become some of my favorite brushes. When wet, they hold their shape well (when dry, they appear "puffy" - see the pictures I've included for the difference) and they hold a lot of water. I have had no issues with them shedding, nor have I seen or needed to trim any stray hairs. I've painted several pictures using these brushes now and can say that they've worked themselves into regular rotation in my collection. Very happy with these brushes.

I thought I’d write the review I was looking for to save someone else in the same boat as me the time and from wasting resources... I thought maybe I could get away with a cheaper knockoff of the far more expensive da Vinci Watercolor Series 418 Petit Gris Pur Paint Brushes, but alas I was wrong. I compared the smallest brush in this 3 brush set with my da vinci size 3. Even though the da vinci was nearly 3 times the size of the smallest brush, I got a thinner line from the day vinci. No comparison here. I can't speak to their longevity, but I didn't notice any shedding and they otherwise loaded well and behaved like the da vinci. They seem like a good investment for a loose painter, but they don't meet my needs so I’m returning. In summary, if you care about doing precision detail work, these are not the brushes for you. But for those of us that paint loosely, these appear to be a good investment, but again longevity wasn't tested.

Lovely set of brushes. I've been trying to keep my watercolors looser and these brushes are perfect for light feathery brush strokes. Well made and a pleasure to paint with.

It’s hard to gauge by a photo of the product, but I thought the brushes would be a bit bigger. They are very good quality though & delivery was excellent. Thank you!

The brushes exceeded my expectations with its high-quality bristles, The handle of the paintbrush was comfortable to hold.The brushes also hold water and colors well. I would highly recommend this brushes to both beginners and professionals artists alike.

These squirrel hair brushes are really great! They hold avery decent amount of water, and are very well made. I must also compliment the packaging, a nice box with excellent foam protection for each brush. They came with quality covers on the tips and sizing to keep the bristles from being damaged. A quick rinse in warm water to remove the sizing and they were ready to go! Very pleased with these Dugato brushes, will buy more in the future.
