These are great, you get a whole 5 pounds for a really great price!Yes I know they are raised in China and I too have reservations about what they may be feeding the BSFL, but my girls have been missing their bugs since the mealworms I previously bought for them for nearly $40 for a 5 pound bag ran out. And I just couldn't justify paying so much for dried worms again, plus I wanted to try black soldier fly larvae anyway because they have better calcium content and the Zower brand really sold their product, so I thought I'd try them out.My girls love these! Now not all of the chickens will eat them, but that is only because I have some that only eat live insects and will not touch ANY dried bug. The BSFL appear to be extremely fresh, most are whole and not crumbled into dust (I think the box protects them from being crushed up) and it comes in a resealable pouch, that plus the price for the size you get, I will be buying them again! Thank you!

We bought these to feed our neighborhood bluebirds this past winter, and they and a lot of other birds love these dried worms. I have to hold my breath when filling the feeder because the worms are kinda stinky, but it’s all about the birds!

My chickens like it, they will eat it but if I put too much out they do not eat all of it.My chickens are greedy birds and for them to not eat it all makes me suspicious.I will be buying a different brand and see if they eat it the same way.Next time I will buy an all American brand that is made in the U.S. to make the comparison.I think I know the answer but there is no reason not to examine in contrast between the two countries products.My chickens will let me know which is better.

You tried meal worms seem to be in Healthy shape compared to other brands. The pieces don’t just fall apart. They stay intact and my birds absolutely love them.
