Excellent, heavy duty quality.
I have used this solidly for almost 2 years. Never had a problem with anything. All screws have stayed tight. The mic cord clip has even lasted this whole time. Usually those snap after a few months. This thing has been left in the rain multiple times with no rust. It has been dropped. Drug behind the car for a brief moment when my hatch failed to close and it fell out (long story) Does not blow over on uneven ground. Always finds its footing during outdoor events on uneven ground and holds multiple styles of mics with the right attachments. Worth every penny. Must buy.

decent under NORMAL conditions
I bought this to assist myself in streaming console games (sitting in a chair away from my computer) and a few things came up that required a bit of a work around:Because of how physics works when I have the arm leaning out at a certain angle the weight of my mic hanging off the end will cause the stand to fall over because the tripod legs have such a wide stance there's plenty of blind-spot (i have the stand next to me with the mic held out next to me so it isn't exactly what the stand was built for so that's more my fault than the stand) - i worked around this by putting weights on one of the legs to keep it from falling over - although it likes to drag the weights when it does fall over because of issue #2in the description it comments on how you can position this stand on uneven ground because of the adjustable legs - but for the life of me i could not get them to lock in place (there are screws you can tighten but as tight as they were they weren't tight enough) - but maybe i'm just a noob and i was going about it all wrong - ggmy third issue with this stand is that while the clamp is very easy to open and close to raise or lower the center pole (i don't know the terminology) if you have it in a situation where you want to move it side to side (such as sitting in a chair with a microphone in front of you, moving it out of the way to get out of the chair) it will slowly start to lowed back into the stand - so if you raise it up a foot and move it side to side a few times you may find that the boom is now lower than you originally had it positioned - i wish the clamp was a bit stronger.but under NORMAL conditions I think this stand would perform as it should (but i don't recommend adding a laptop shelf because the weight might cause the mic to lower over time; i use my cellphone to read the stream chat, it's the moving it side to side when i need to get out of the chair that causes it to lower for me)

Super useful
I wanted a phone stand to create craft progress video.... this thing is ideal.I needed height for some pics and this gives me that. I was looking at phone stands and they're way more expensive and not as good as this. I know this is a mic stand, but it comes with the phone attachment

They're good if you set them up and leave them up
I bought these mic stands to mic some musical equipment in my house. They work well but I set them up when I first got them and left them up. If you're going to set these up and then have to tear them down later on a regular basis then I would recommend buying pro level mic stands. These would be great for a project or home studio but not for gigging

Compact. Sturdy. Flexible. Locks Down Well.
I was skeptical at first, being used to cast metal rounded base models, I was nicely surprised the boom extended so far with a heavier style mic on the end and didn't topple or wobble, yet it was easy to swing out of the way when needed. The results were so good, I bought another and retired those outdated umbrella stand style units.

You get what you pay for.
These stands are a total disappointment. We bought the four pack of these microphone stands for use by our band. We've only used them for two gigs and have already ordered four more expensive stands to replace these. They're way too light to support many microphones and fall over much too easily. We even had a stand fall over and damage a band member's instrument. During the gig today, my microphone holder just started to tip over and I had to stop and tighten the screw in the mike bracket and one other stand has already had a set screw strip out and, because of the fragile nature of these stands, we've been very careful not to over tighten the set screws. Unfortunately, it's too late for us to return these stands so we'll be putting them in the trash where they belong.
