*B550 works with PBO on x3d processors *ARGB connectors *wifi *cheap *ASRock has really earned my respect lately great build quality, I build a SFF in the Fractal Ridge with a 5700X3d, 32gb ddr4, RX6750XT. Overall motherboard handled it all very well. did exactly what I needed it to do. It did require a bios update to get PBO on the X3d but that is normal, it was released after the product was made.

Before you start building I'd recommend swapping out wifi card with a ax211 or better. I put a ryzen 5 3600 in it, dual ddr4 16gb 3200mhz ram kit in it (32gb total). 500w psu, and a old 3060ti I had laying around in SFF case with handle. CPU and motherboard temp are close in temperature. So if gaming and CPU is around 63c motherboard would be displaying a temp of something like 58c. I'm only mentioning this cause people are saying the thermal plate for motherboard is too small. If you put something crazy on this board like a 4080 with a 5950x 16 core CPU, and 4000+mhz ddr4 ram. I can't say for sure, but I have no doubt that plate would be a problem. Keep in mind this is a budget board, and you shouldn't expect miracles. That being said me and my stepson played WWE 2k24 for hooooouuurrss multiple times on it so far. No issue at all. First time buying a ASRock board as well and the bios and ASRock apps seem kinda crude and dated compared to MSI or ROG, but definitely has everything you need to modify bios, fan speed, rgb etc. I kinda like it. I'm real happy with purchase.

It's solid, convenient, and easy to use. The included instruction sheet could be a little more clear but it's usable. I quite like Asrock boards. They always do a great job for me.

Used this board for a mini ITX build. I think the board is well built, includes the most important headers (no USB C header for case sadly) and has a good BIOS menu with plenty of settings to use XMP and other options. My Ryzen 5 5600x worked out of box and did not require a BIOS update. This board was 100% functional for the first 3 months I had it, then I started to experience blue screens that I could not solve. Finally, after a couple days and a few hours, I figured out that it was a BIOS issue and when I updated the BIOS and cleaned my PC, it worked fine again. I like the board, I think it has exceptional value in a budget board. I hope it continues to work into the future.

Purchased this mobo from amazon. After a year I was getting major issues with the pc crashing own once in a while. Motherboard still under warranty and Asrock confirmed fault/confirmed warranty but after more than 4 weeks of back and forth neither Amazon nor Asrock are willing to replace, refund or repair the board! Had to buy a motherboard twice as expensive to fix the issue bscause of this horrible customer service from both Asrock and Amazon.

Great cheap mini itx for for am4. Only problem with this is am4 is getting old but that's nothing to do with the product itself. Its easy to build on its small with a basic layout. Can fit inside of most mini itx cases you want and my bios came preupdated.

It's a very nice budget motherboard. The 8 power phase design do help keep it running at normal temperatures. I did not need to update the firmware to run this CPU. I like that the motherboard supports the "Resizable BAR" GPU memory feature. When installing Windows 10 (final 22H2 release), I noticed the OS immediately downloaded the Realtek Audio Console App for me. It was nice not to have to worry about this. The motherboard is set to fast boot, but this can be changed in the BIOS settings should you need to train the motherboard with your RAM. Not much to say other than it was easy to setup and I am happy with the results.

Purchased this M/B as this is the last available upgrade choice which can utilize my DDR4 RAMs. (As of 2025 October) Works perfectly well with 5700X3D processor - PBO & Curve Optimizer supported. BIOS version was v3.40 Only quick guide was included in the box, but builders interested in ITX board/SFF PCs will not really need more than this.

Está bastante bien, la bios muy completa. Lo único malo es el puerto de red es de 1 giga. Cuidado con los Procesadores de amd, los ryzen con ventilador incluido acaban tocando parte de la placa.

Enklare moderkort som gör precis det som förväntas. Lätt att bygga, och genomtänkt layout för det mesta. Enda anmärkningen är CPU 8-pin socket som sitter på "fel sida" om CPUsockeln vilket innebär att det blir lite stökigt med kabeldragning. Hade föredragit att den satt bredvid 24-pinnarn vilket i de flesta chassin också är närmst nätaggregatet. Funkar kanon med XMP profiler på 3600mhz G.Skill Trident Z minnen. Tillräckligt många in- och utgångar för de allra flesta skulle jag gissa - dock ingen möjlighet för frontmatad usb-c på chassit, men det finns en usb-c tillgänglig på I/O panelen. Smidigt med både wifi och bluetooth direkt på moderkortet (särskilt vid denna prispunkten!). Sett lite åsikter om klen VRM kylning, men detta är endast en faktor vid överklockning av top-tier processorer som i vilket fall som helst sannolikt inte paras med en enkel budget B550-bräda.

Great board, simple, not over spec'd but worked perfectly with a Ryzen 3600 out of the box. No need for BIOS update.
