Maps International - Giant World Map Mural - Mega-Map Of The World Wallpaper - 91 x 62 - Neutral Colors

I had been looking for a wall map for a while, and all were at least 3x the price. I was afraid this would be low quality, put it far exceeded my expectations. Beautiful colors, lots of detail... and BIG!

I used wallpaper paste applied to the back of the map, as it wasn't self adhesive. (When I applied it to the wall first, it left lumps under paper and was difficult to smooth out.). This map and it's color are gorgeous! I got the muted version and have had lots of compliments as people see it in our entryway/mud room. Great map! You will not be disappointed!

I like this map, so I uploaded a few pictures for your reference. First & second picture shows that it provides a great mix of visual appeal and information. I browsed several map murals before, ranging from external options like National Geographic to other Amazon options; others were either too busy with map names all crammed together or picturesque but lacking map-type information altogether.In the second picture you will see that the seams line up adequately with the labels that are on separate panels. This doesn’t happen by magic and takes some patience to get right. The map comes in four panels, and are made with something slightly thicker that poster paper. Handling it while wet with glue is tricky, and may lead to some _minor_ ink smearing as shown in the third picture. This paper & minor ink issue is my -1 star.The fourth picture shows the glue that was recommended to me by my local true value hardware store: dynamite heavy duty adhesive with a thick bristled brush (ie not a paint brush). I recommend both for this project. The adhesive is goopy/not runny, so it doesn’t make a mess everywhere, which is great given the thin paper + ink smearing issue... the thick brush is to avoid clumping in the back of the paper.A final note: you will need to push out the air bubbles with something... which may lead to the ink smearing issue. Be sure that what you use is dry and the paper you are pressing is not moist.The end is well worth the means.. I really enjoy it and it does prompt my kids (not pictured) into conversation about the big world we live in.

This map is a joke. None of the pieces are matching exactly , its impossible to put the pieces together, or hide that problem. I have been trying to return it, its been almost 3 months nobody ever contacted me back yet to return. I am very insisted on giving this product back, i dont understand how 1 person even can be happy with this product and give good stars. Disspointing.

Great color, quality, and size! We simply stapled (instead of pasted) the map to our wall and it worked perfectly; however, you will need at last two people (and a bit a patience) to install. Highly recommend something like this in place of a $200 large wall poster like a lot of other options.

Did everything in the instructions: cleaned wall, made sure it's flat without any imperfections. Applied paste with special wallpaper paste brush. Once paste is on, the wallpaper becomes like a wet piece of paper. Very difficult to handle. I applied first top corners and slowly with a felt squeegee started working downwards. At the beginning everything seemed fine, no bubbles and the wallpaper was sticking uniformly. After a few minutes, tons of bubbles and creases everywhere. The wallpaper expands while on the wall creating all these problems. Of course the next sheet will not match because you would have to put all 4 pieces at the same time on the wall, to maintain the same expansion rate. I don't understand why they didn't make a single piece of paper. Will most likely remove it and find something better.

I purchased this map as a wall mural on the staircase wall. It looks nice in the box, but my dilemma was I cannot get high enough to put it where I want.

The map is gorgeous, and a priced at a real bargain. What may be a deal-breaker for some is the panel layout: the map comes in four panels that must be properly aligned. Normally, this would not be a problem if the panels were each running vertically, but this map is designed with four quadrants that all meet in the middle. Yikes! Installation went fine for us as each panel simply lines up with the previous...until...the last panel, which must match up with two panels (one on a vertical seam and one on a horizontal seam). This is where the poop hits the fan. We really struggled getting the fourth panel to line up vertically and horizontally. In the end, we couldn't make it match perfectly. We did our best, but for the OCD people out there, the imperfections will probably drive you nuts.Overall, it is a beautiful map. Time will tell if it holds up. The difficulty of installation will make me think twice about buying another one.

Awesome map. Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to read and put up. I didn’t use it as wallpaper though, I put it up with tape. Be sure to use strong tape because it’s too heavy for regular tape and will slump and eventually fall down. Very happy with this purchase

Die Tapete ist Robust und kann paar Knicke ab. Wir haben sie auf eine MDF-Platte geklebt und dann an der Wand mit einen Rahmen befestigt. Das Aufbringen war sehr mühselig und aufwendig, da die Tapete aus vier Teilen besteht. Das Ergebnis ist aber Top. Am Besten man macht es zu Zweit!

Mia moglie l’ha piazzata sul muro del salotto ed e spettacolare, abbastanza facile da installare. Noi abbiamo fatto tagliare 4 pannelli di legno su misura

Le rendu est très bien , le poser est autre chose

Se ve muy bien ya instalado en la pared pero considero que requiere de alguien con experiencia para instalarlo, una excelente compra.
