***Just to send some encouragement, I posted this originally when I was barely testing positive for pregnant, but holding my breath in that vulnerable early detection window.. Turns out.. It wasn’t a chem, no early miscarriage, I’m currently in my second trimester. Monitor your body, just tune in with all of Proov’s resources. Baby dust to all ❤️*** So, we’ve actually been trying for about two years - have used all sorts of products and teas and combinations of dietary modifications which ended in disappointment, chem preg, early miscarriages- it’s been awful emotionally as well as taken a toll on my body. Somehow the combination of Proov’s LH strips for the ovulation spike, PDG strips to confirm ovulation, then using the Pro supplements and Balancing oil for the last two weeks of the cycle WORKED. This company is run by women, was created by a woman with fertility issues (I did my research before investing in this group of products - they seem expensive but they realistically aren’t if you consider the cost of months of things you’ve already tried or the immeasurable cost of the range of emotions, or your time scouring the internet for solutions - let’s admit, the internet can be terrifying with fertility “rabbit holes” so to speak) it’s “PROOV-EN” itself to be priceless. I’ll put this review on all of the products I used. -Proov Predict LH -Proov Confirm PDG -Proov PRO Supplements -Proov Balancing Oil I am not a doctor, I am not an employee of Proov, I am not a paid reviewer. I am an every day person - a woman and mother who has struggled with frustrating fertility issues for two years, and believe that every woman should have this information, and every woman should not have to suffer endless disappointment with what superpower our bodies can do: grow a healthy, happy baby. I am your neighbor, your friend, the woman you walk past in the grocery store, the woman in the car next to you at the stoplight. We are a special community - we are all women - and have a unique and special ability. We just have to balance the things we cannot see: our hormones. Stop going to the fertility doctor and leaving frustrated or confused when they tell you everything appears good; giving yourself overwhelming anxiety that affects your hormones; taking prescription drugs to “force” your eggs to release… stop putting yourself through that. Aren’t you tired? I know I was. Clearly I am over the moon - and all of you deserve it as well. Do it naturally, love your body, balance your body, relax and it WILL happen - follow Proov’s guidance, and you can even call or email them and get a live specialist to help or answer questions (I did). If it takes a month to balance everything, don’t give up, do it again next month and your miracle will arrive. Hang in there, sister. XO

*Edit: I gave this test a second chance and I did end up getting the results I need on the next cycle after my error from below. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and realize my previous frustration was definitely user error. Now I will say this may not work for everyone but it worked for me and after 3 long years we had success. ———————————————————————— I feel as if this test is defective. I received an inconclusive diagnosis. The ink did not rise but i saw one line 3 times. And one test had a faint line. I messaged the Proov team and the assured me that the test was working even though I did not see the ink rise to the line like I have with LH strips. My first practice test had a reading of 7.0, first official test was 4.1, my second test dipped to 2.3, but then my final test rose back up to 3.8. If you have pcos, beware of this test. It will cause you more anxiety and grief than you would need while trying to conceive.

I’ve been using PROOV for three cycles. We’ve been TTC for 1 year. Last cycle, I used Letrozole with TI, this cycle, I am using Letrozole and Ovidrel with TI. Based off my PROOV strips, I have been terrified of my low results. Today I asked my Harvard trained academic (read: she’s not in it for the $$) fertility doctor about why I wasn’t being placed on progesterone pills due to the information I’ve gathered from PROOV about my low progesterone and therefore thin lining/weak ovulation (as first confirmed by PROOV customer service). My doctor told me to take all the money I’m spending on PROOV and put it in a savings account for my child’s college, and when the first year is paid off by all the money I’m saving on these garbage tests, I’ll think of her. I cannot stop laughing. She said that these tests victimize women into thinking there’s a problem when there is not, and that, so far in my cycle, I am doing beautifully and everything is within range (even though PROOV says I am below desired outcomes). Also, this is a small thing, but they only let you take a photo for upload once, and if you mess it up, you have to reach out to customer service to update it. The whole thing was very big brother. The representative was snippy and entitled. I had to send her a TON of information, like even what kind of iPhone I have. It left me feeling super irritated I had to take time out of my day to connect with someone to address a problem I’m capable of fixing myself, and then she was rude. But, as I said, these tests are apparently useless, drive anxiety, and I will not be purchasing anymore. Also note, last cycle PROOV said I didn’t ovulate at all, which was confirmed to be FALSE by an ultrasound. I did ovulate. PROOV is garbage. The end.

I use these every month to confirm ovulation! They're the best brand! So easy to use and I feel confident using them for NFP. I love that you can use them at home and confirm progesterone! The only other real option is going to a lab to get blood drawn every month. How awesome that we can test at home!

For the first time actually, I think I got a semi-defective batch of strips in one of the two boxes; the dye was super super light on this batch, hard to see regardless, much lighter than most boxes. And the strips read on extreme highs & lows over just 4 days, which is not typical for me. Additionally, I noticed the strips were placed in their sleeves upside down in this batch, not sure if that's related, but might signal a manufacturing error? Typically I have good things to say about PROOV strips, but I think I got a defective batch for the first time in almost 2 years.

I am pleased with the Proov test and elated there is a test available to confirm ovulation. Which help me even more on my TTC journey. Fertility can be overwhelming to say the least, the more I am able to learn about my body the better. I had a very early miscarriage at 5 weeks in 2017. I am currently TTC our rainbow baby. So I started doing research and I learned about progesterone and its role in the early stages of pregnancy. Something I never knew about before! I’ve never had my progesterone tested. My GYN recently gave me a referral to see a RE. But before spending hundreds of dollars on testing; I figured if I could test for ovulation and pregnancy at home, why not progesterone?! I decided to search for an at-home progesterone test and found Proov. Here are my results: Aug 26:CD 8 I took baseline test which was negative Sept 2: CD 15 Peak fertility- Positive LH Surge using OPK Sept 5: CD 18 I was 3 days past peak fertility and began testing to confirm ovulation. I used natural progesterone cream. Sept 6: CD 19 Proov test-Negative; I started having some brown spotting; immediately began to suspect this was due to low progesterone Sept 7: CD 20 Proov Negative; more brown spotting Sept 8: CD 21 Proov test- Negative, very faint pink line visible; however PDG seem to be near rising when compared to baseline test; I continue to have more brown spotting. I use the natural progesterone cream, then discontinue using it because I read in the Q&A section of the Proov instructions that natural progesterone could affect the results. *Sept 9: CD 22 Proov test-Negative, very faint pink line visible on test strip; brown spotting continues; after checking with “Dr. Google” I thought the spotting may be due to implantation or low progesterone *Purchased more of the Proov test because the instructions stated to stop testing when Proov tests turns positive (single line). I really wanted to see if I would in fact get a positive result with a single line. Moreover, I want to gain more knowledge about my reproductive health and my body. Also, I was elated that the tests arrived the very next day with Prime shipping. I am a POAS addict, even a day felt like a week lol. Kudos to Amazon for next day shipping!!👏🏽 Sept 10: CD 23 Proov test- Near positive, PDG appeared to be near rising; scant brown spotting Sept 11: CD 24 Proov test- Positive?? Near Positive?? PDG rising?? The test appeared positive at 5 minutes then a faint pink line started to appear after about 7 minutes, at 15 minutes a second line was clearly visible. I was a bit confused, I thought test remain positive if my PDG was over 5 ug/ml?; also continued to have brown spotting. Sept 12: CD 25 Proov test -Positive?? Near Positive?? PDG rising?? The test appeared faintly positive at 5 minutes then a pink line started to appear after about 7 minutes, at 15 minutes a second line was clearly visible. I continued to have brown spotting which was unusual for me. I’ve experience spotting during previous cycles, but not off and on for nearly a week. So I contact my GYN and she had me come in right away. I had a pelvic exam and turns out I had an endometrial polyp, which I’ve never had before. My GYN removed the polyp and ordered additional testing. Sept 13: CD 26 Proov test- Positive??. Only 1 line. (There was a very, very faint pink line at 15 minutes, however per the instructions, results are not to be read after more than 15 minutes). Decided to test the next day for good measure. Sept 14: CD 27 Proov test- POSITIVE. Single line only. No faint lines. Ovulation confirmed. See picture #3 for my Proov test progression lines. I wanted to share my experience using the Proov test for the first time. Sometimes I read reviews and expect my results to be the same as others but everyone body is different. Using the Proov test gave me some really valuable info about my body. Highly recommend giving the test a try. *UPDATE 12/1/19 I am currently 3 days post peak fertility. I took a Proov test today and got a positive result! I am so excited to be able to confirm ovulation. I’m scheduled to have blood work done soon. Seeing a positive result just makes me feel so happy. Baby dust to all my mamas on this TTC journey.

App was user-friendly. Step-by-step instructions were clear and easy to read.

Not very reliable. I purchased proov to go along with premom pdg and lh and clearblue digital. Proov showed to be the least reliable. I've been using the others about 2 mos now. Proov only allows you to use the camera to upload results. There is no manual option to upload from your gallery. The camera feature is faulty and terrible. Its always giving error and I have to retry multiple times. It doesn't allow a flash on option. The picture is always grainy looking. The 3rd day it wouldn't take the picture at all. The test strip also gave a faint line for the control and no test line. Indicating its faulty. And you only get 5 for the price. Its not recommended but I took a picture with proov of my premom strip and it read it and plotted it. They are not packaged well in the individual packs. The pouch gets stuck on them and they are all placed in where you have to grab the urine side to get it out. I got this as an additional confirmation because I like that the app provides a numerical level. But improvements to uploading need to be made for this brand to be worth it. I will stick with the other brand over these.
