My first zero turn mower came with the house so I didn't realize how bad it needed these. I was riding a rodeo and throwing my back out every time I mowed. After watching some videos, I discovered that the stabilizers tend to go bad so I swapped them out with these and it is a night and day difference. My John Deere Z425 is so much smoother with them installed. The installation was a little bit tricky due to the weird clips on each end. I'm sure there is a trick to them but I wasn't able to figure it out. With enough screwdriver prying, they will eventually come off. I highly recommend these and when they eventually go bad, I'll pick up another set.

I got them installed on my mower and so far they are working already cut two yards I figured I write this review since seeing a lot of negative reviews so again they are still working on my mower after 2 different yards being cut and well guess we just see if they hold up rest of summer and I think they will

Exact same measurements as original

Started to install and found they were too short even fully extended. Waste of $ and time. I demand my money back for this worthless junk

Direct replacement for Z245

When moving from fwd to Rev, you have slack before the resistance occurs, this slack is in both directions. The oem I have has no slack

One of my original ones seized and these were the best value I could find. And they work well (as good as the original JD ones). Done a full season of mowing and still feel like when they were new.
