Good, lightweight, practical measure.
Likes: Lighter than I expected for a measure of this length. A great idea to give the user control of tape lock and speed of retraction via the thumb-wheel built into the side of the casing. Accurate diameter-calculating scale on the reverse side of the tape. (Whoever says that the labels for the “Inch” and “Centimetre” scales are reversed is mistaken!) Nice to handle, practical to use. Dislikes: It would have been better to mark whole feet in red, I think. It’s a pity there’s no belt clip. Took a long while to arrive (although, to be fair, the delivery estimate was always fairly long!) Overall: Pleased with my purchase - recommended.

Rubbish
Do not buy. This product is not worth the money. It looks like stainless steel in the picture but is made of cheap plastic. You cannot return the item either.

Expectations
Good product overall. Was only expecting the casing to be metallic… and not plastic, or at least sturdier. Considering it’s size and the environment that is going to be used - needed a heavier duty But besides that all good 👍

Avoid this item. It is of really poor quality and not worth the price. Also it has no return policy. Complete waste of time and money

This is by far the best diameter tape I've used for measuring trees. 12' is extremely convenient for large, mature trees with big DBH, I haven't yet met an urban tree that has outsized this diameter tape. The case is extremely durable, and the blade is flexible yet durable (doesn't kink), and the markings are easy to read. I do find the numbers and markings wear off after a while and wish they were more friction resistant. The price is fantastic, though. Overall, this is definitely my tape of choice.
