The piece is made with particle board in some places. Some of the screws destroyed the wood it was screwing into and just fell right out. However, the overall design of this cabinet is well made. The areas where the screws came out still had other dowels or long anchors to secure the pieces together. If everything worked like it should this cabinet would be indestructible, but it leaves room for the errors which is nice. I gave it 5 stars because we all have bought some cabinets that just fall apart and become useless when the hole gets stripped or the particle board breaks apart. This cabinet is better than those and looks elegant for a reasonable price.

Was easy to put together. I use it by the back door to hold dog paraphernalia: leashes, balls, poop bags. And it keeps all our outdoor shoes from laying on the floor.

This coffee bar works well. There were a few scratches when I removed from the box, but they polished out. Assembly: Easy but does require two people for easiest assembly. All parts did come in the box and fit well. Sturdiness: Like other reviews, this is not a $500 piece of furniture. It is not as study or well made as a brand like Sauder but it worked for our needs. Power: The bar does not have an opening in the back for the cords. I put the surge protector on the top opening and the cords through the sides. I will probably cut a hold myself in back for the cords to hide them. Overall: Not bad for price. Serves the purpose. I am not sure this will be a piece that can be moved much though.

I purchased this cabinet for my mom to use as a coffee bar. It was easy to put together and looks great in her dining room. She has had many compliments on the cabinet. It has lots of room for storage.

Good value. There were small imperfections on the top of the unit. Contacted supplier who sent out a replacement within days - great company that stands behind their product. Only negative is that the instructions were pictures only - not hard to assemble but would be easier with instructions.

Absolutely awful product. Do not buy this, I will be returning (if possible, potentially just trashing it). I opened the box to find the pieces all scratched up on the edges. After starting to put it together, several holes were stripped and the screws fell out. The real kicker was after the hinge went on, the door snapped at the first time closing. So cheaply made.

I love how this buffet looks and it holds my 20L reptile enclosure on top and all of my perfumes inside without any cracking/creaking noises or buckling shelves. However, this stand is most definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY I spent. While it looks lovely, it arrived already scratched and, no matter how carefully I moved the pieces during assembly, scratched way to easily for an almost $300 buffet stand. It was so frustrating to put together that my boyfriend and I had to take a days break from it before finishing the assembly. I hate to leave a crappy review because once put together it's lovely. But, it's definitely a rip off. At most, this stand should be worth anywhere between $75-$100.

My most tedious assembly process ever but the finished process is sturdy, stylish, and provides the storage I needed without taking up more space than I cared to devote to this function.
