One of the best and authentic translation I have ever seen. Indeed this book means the light.

The best English language translation

Giving 4 stars ONLY because the ayah numbers are difficult to see because they’re not bold. Also the reference “letters” are EXTREMELY small and I constantly have to go back and look a few times in the Ayah to see where that particular reference is located. It looks okay in picture but in person it’s pretty difficult to make out. I have 20/20 vision so it’s not me. Otherwise, I love this book. Thick pages and beautiful!

Wonderful translation. Beautiful cover. I read a few parts of it and i cant wait to finish reading the whole book. I havent read translations that i agree with more than this one. Definitely recommend

Bought Kindle version on Nov 18th, 2020 and found out 10 days later that Surah 2:31 to 141 is missing! Wanted to return but too late. For someone who has just started to read and trying to understand the Islamic holy text, this is downright disappointing.

Schöne, gebundene Ausgabe, macht einen guten Eindruck. Die englische Übersetzung ist angenehm zu lesen. Ich habe auch eine deutsche Übersetzung, die im direkten Vergleich etwas holprig wirkt. Wer der englischen Sprache mächtig ist, sollte zu dieser Version greifen. Der Inhalt überrascht (mich, Erstleser) mit einer klaren Botschaft. Frieden, Liebe, Brüderlichkeit, Gastfreundschaft werden bei den echten Muslimen ganz groß geschrieben. Eine fantastische Religion, die nicht umsonst bereits im Mittelalter als toleranteste Religion überhaupt galt. Da haben wir hier mit den Hexenverbrennungen und der Verfolgung Andersgläubiger gerade erst angefangen. Aber lassen wir den Inhalt für sich sprechen. Weil ich leider kein Arabisch spreche/lese/verstehe, ist das die angenehmste und am besten lesbare Übersetzung. Kann ich jedem empfehlen, der sich mit dem Thema auseinandersetzen möchte oder bereits Moslem ist aber auch kein Arabisch lesen kann. Please treat any religious book with respect. If you don’t need it anymore, give it to someone who‘ll appreciate it. Do not throw it away. Thank you.
