Thomas Crick Men's 'Bamford' Formal Chelsea Boots

Wear Chelsea boots daily for work. I go on site a lot, but also spend a lot of time in the office, so I needed something durable and smart. These are the cheapest but the best boots I’ve worn. They look really good, and are actually very comfortable. They also fit perfectly (I ordered my usual size). They also take a polish very well and shine up very nicely. 5 stars because I really like them and would buy again at this price. There are some downsides, the leather seems to mark really easily, and can get dark spots on. These seem to disappear as quickly as they appear. The soles are also quite thin - I don’t find this is an issue, but occasionally when walking over larger rocks stones I can feel them underneath my foot.

These boots are great, wear them most days and normally get a good year out of them. Nice and light but sturdy, not steel capped so keeps the weight down, but look good with a pair of jeans, Third pair I have bought and will be back for some more when these ones wear through

Bought these to replace the same pair I bought in April 2022. Very long lasting, I've worn these for work for just shy of 3 years. Just the right mix of comfortable and professional

I don't normally write bad reviews. However feel it's necessary. I bought these shoes in April last year, I also bought RM Williams, which are very pricey so the plan for the purchase was simply to wear these for non important days. However that plan disappeared and I forgot as I still had other boots. So I kept these to the side. You can see I have worn them once which was today and left them idol for nearly two years you can see the affect on the leather. Fit is good, relatively comfortable. However even with this low price it's quality is clearly fast fashion and is a waste of money. Surprising as it appears well constructed and real leather. Before I wore them today I had to polish them also, the colour was awful before I even took this picture and felt it was my duty to let other consumers know this is not worth buying.

Initially good - but ripped on side where eleasticated fabric joins leather - after about 2pms wear- could have just been unlucky

Will order again and again. Purchased 4 times over last few years. Better than paying 120 for overpriced branded boots. Better quality. Better price.

Ich liebe diesen Schuh einfach. Ja, es ist ein sehr günstiger Schuh mit Gummisohle und unechter Rahmennaht, aber das ist bei dem Preis für einen wirklich schicken und funktionalen Lederschuh absolut in Ordnung. Über den tatsächlichen Komfort kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich günstigere Schuhe grundsätzlich etwas größer kaufe, um sie dann mit meinen Einlagen vom Orthpäden zu tragen. So wird der Schuh dann auf jeden Fall bequem. Ich trage den Schuh im Alltag, in der Freizeit und beim Ausgehen. Für mich passt er durch Funktion und Ästhetik so ziemlich überall. Gerade vergangenes Wochenende habe ich ihn auf einer 6Km Wanderung durch steiniges Terrain getragen. Dafür gibt es sicherlich bessere Schuhe (ich hatte andere Schuhe vergessen), aber ich hatte trotzdem keinerlei Probleme und war positiv überrascht wie gut der Schuh funktioniert hat. Ich trage dieses Paar jetzt seit ziemlich genau zwei Jahren und er hält noch einwandfrei. Ich gehe davon aus, dass sich früher oder später die Sohle lösen wird, und der Schuh "ausgelatscht" aussehen wird, aber bis dahin bekomme ich sicherlich insgesamt 3 Jahre Alltagsnutzung aus dem Schuh und danach wird er noch zur Gartenarbeit taugen. Die einzigen Mankos: - Die Sohle, insbesondere am Fersenblock, ist aus hässlichem Gummi. Zwar ist es bequem und auch überraschend abriebfest, jedoch hat es einen Glanz an sich der einfach blöd/billig ausschaut. Wenn Red Tape hier - gerne auch für fünf Euro mehr - ein besseres Material einsetzen würde, wäre ich begeistert. - Die Finger-Schlaufe. Die Schlaufe ist aus schlechtem Material und zu klein. Man bekommt kaum einen Finger rein. An einem der Schuhe ist sie einfach ausgerissen. Hier könnte der Hersteller sicherlich ohne große Mehrkosten eine bessere und besser dimensionierte Schlaufe anbringen. Aber alles in allem: Ein hervorragend bepreister Lederstiefel, der mir sehr viel Freude bereitet.
