A Night Divided (Scholastic Gold)

This was one of the most exhilarating and heart moving books I have ever read. In my eyes it contains strong inspiration, especially for children who have views that are squashed. It shows strength and courage. I would recommend this book to anyone old enough to read it!!!!

This is an excellent book which tells the story of a famly divided by the Berlin wall. The story is told from the point of view of Gerta who is twelve years old. This book really gives an in-sight into what life was like living in East Berlin at that time. It is easy to read and is a compelling story. Highly recommended.
